How to get the F-35A to take off from a 200-meter runway? How about this idea? Is it acceptable? It takes wisdom to solve complex problems with simple methods. On the contrary, solving simple things with more complex methods, this.......? For example, the electromagnetic catapult has a high cost and higher energy and running-in period. It must be pointed out here that the steam catapult has an efficiency of only 6%. Why should such an inefficient steam catapult continue to exist and be used? Why not change? Can we ask the question, Does the United States still have wisdom?

Recently, we celebrated an incredible achievement—the successful first flight of the Bulgarian F-16 Block 70. This milestone is a testament not only to Bulgaria’s commitment to security; this F-16 Block 70 is the first jet of 16 that will soon serve Bulgaria’s Air Force, strengthening defense capabilities and deepening strategic ties with the U.S., NATO and European allies. Our employees have poured their expertise into ensuring this aircraft is ready for the mission ahead, and their work continues to keep us at the forefront of 21st Century Security®. With Bulgaria building out its infrastructure and training its pilots, these jets will be flying in-country by 2025, enhancing regional security and furthering a partnership that will endure for decades. I couldn’t be prouder of everyone behind this achievement—together, we’re securing a safer future.
