Offering Land Management as an Alternative to Engineering to Rehabilitate Watershed Health
Earlier this month, the WEST Consultants, Inc. Red Rock Office had the honor of hosting the WIFA Funded Groundwater Recharge Demonstration Project Kickoff Meeting. This funding was awarded to both Central Arizona Irrigation & Drainage District and Drylands Alliance for Addressing Water Needs, the two partners in this project. This project endeavors to explore the use of an infiltration technology by Parjana Engineering for recharging stormwater. This project will consist of field trials and an independent engineering study to verify measures of success established for the project. As a result, others across the state are interested in the outcome of this project.
