West Midlands Police’s Post

The latest cohort of West Midlands Police officers celebrated their passing out parade at Tally Ho!, yesterday (Friday). Joined by our Chief Constable Craig Guildford and proud friends and family, the officers who joined through our Police Constable Entry Programme (PCEP) have successfully completed their training. They will now be deployed to our local policing areas to begin their careers as officers. Feeling inspired and interested in a career in policing? We’re currently recruiting for all six entry routes, offering a variety of options for applicants, including formal qualifications, a graduate scheme, practical police training, or a path to becoming a detective. No tunics for recruits passing out Always disappointed to see that - I expect a capital stewardship driven adjustment
