The Mechanical Engineering department leads in the mechanical hardware design, development, and production of weapons systems. We use state-of-the-art tools, processes, and technology, with capabilities encompassing a broad range of technical disciplines, including product engineering, manufacturing, technical services, materials engineering, analysis and test, rapid hardware development/builds and configuration and data management documentation. The Agile Hardware Solutions (AHS) Department seeking a Senior Principal Electrical Design Integrity Checker, located in Tucson, AZ. This is a Hybrid role. Responsibilities to Anticipate: Providing a formal, systematic, design verification and validation of traditional Electrical 2D TDPs Electrical TDPs will encompass the circuit card assembly (or flexible circuit assembly), printed wiring board, and schematic design representation (drawings); including electronic Bills of Material (eBOMs), and design models developed using computer aided design tools. Applications that will be used for Electrical Checks: LINUX Access & MENTOR BoardStation, EXPEDITION-DxDESIGNER (Extract latest Schematic), BLUEPRINT (Extract latest CCA and PWB), VALOR (PWB - Dims, Holes for Board Layer StackUp), and EXCEL for eBOM and other electrical change comparison software. Electrical Model-Based Engineering (MBE) concepts and electronic Bills of Material (eBOMs) experience. Support reviews of Software documents per Program Requirements Perform design verification and validation of traditional 2D Drawings as well as "Model-Based" Design TDPs. Confirm that the synchronization of design representation (drawings) with the design database models from which they were derived, is authenticated. Overall, ensuring that the design verification and validation is in compliance with ASME Y14.41 and MIL-STD-31000 standards. The selected candidate may (with training) also be responsible for providing a formal, systematic, design verification and validation of traditional Mechanical 2D TDPs, and be subjected to Mechanical Model Based Design TDPs.
