As we wrap up 2024 at Westpower, we are filled with gratitude for all that we have accomplished this year. From rebranding our Oilfield Services Division as IMPACT Pump Solutions, raising over $60,000 at our Pig Roast Charity event for CP Kids & Families, to expanding our capabilities, it has been a transformative year for our business. Looking ahead to 2025, we remain committed to supporting people who work with rotating equipment and related processes. Wishing you a joyful and prosperous new year! Lovelight Solutions is thrilled to team up with Let There Be Light International to provide life changing solar lanterns to 1,000 families. It's amazing how much impact a $15 lantern can provide to a family living without access to electricity. Currently, families in off-grid communities in Uganda spend on average 30% of their income on light! Mostly in the form of kerosene which is unhealthy to breathe. We've been working with this fantastic org over the past 4 years as part of our commitment to donate 1% of our revenues to bring light to those that do not have access to electricity. The org is run by an amazing founder/executive director who takes no salary - maximizing the impact of donations. Your donation will fund a solar lantern for mothers that come to deliver a baby in a community health clinic (Lovelight Solutions is proud to have brought solar power to 6 of them). Most families deliver w/in the home which leads to high infant mortality. Getting mothers to clinics where there is a lit environment saves lives. This program is also amazing for women's empowerment. Typically, everything of value is owned by the male.. now a mom comes home with a solar lantern that is extremely valuable and revolutionary for the family. This is a win-win-win program with cascading benefits. Thanks for considering chipping in to this great project, where your donation will be matched 2-1. Let it Shine! Donate here: https://lnkd.in/gSM-s9rS
Today, we are grateful for the power of light, hope, and community. 🌍💡 Thanks to Lovelight Solutions, your donations will be TRIPLED! Let’s make this season of giving one to remember. Together, we can shine on! 💛 #Thanksgiving #Grateful #GivingTuesday #TripleImpact #SolarForChange #ShineOn #LTBLI #SolarLightsChangeLives

Something happened this year at Bikes for Kids WI, the floodgates opened and we saw a steady stream of people in need of low-cost transportation who were unable to afford bikes on their own, more than ever before. The 2,500 bikes we've given away in 2024 have been distributed to all people in need, not just kids. Giving bikes to kids under the age of 11 is a critical part of our work because, if you don't have a bike as a kid, you won't have one as an adult. Beyond age 11, kids are often too embarrassed to learn to ride and they become focused on cars as transportation although they've yet to learn how expensive it is to own a car as those costs go far beyond the initial price of the vehicle. And yes, kids do use their bikes for economic mobility. Kids are often eager to work but when you're too young to drive, a bike provides access to those opportunities. They also help kids get to school and they reduce truancy for many of the kids we serve. Bikes provide access to opportunities. They are so much more than just a recreational option for the people we serve--they are a lifeline. Operation Fresh Start became a new distribution partner for us this year and that's how we connected to Calio and King, the two boys who helped us reach the new milestone of 2,500 bikes given away in 2024. I'll drop a photo of the boys and their bikes in the comments. You will love seeing those smiles! 😊 #transportation #economicmobility #independence #freedom #opportunities #healthyfamilies #healthykids
We just reached a new milestone in 2024—we have now distributed 2,500 bicycles this year alone. That puts our total since 2017 to 12,500 bicycles distributed to financially challenged people in the state of Wisconsin. 💥 If you would like to support our work, you can make a financial donation at bikesforkidswi.org or you can volunteer with us here at the bike center. Thank you to all our donors, community partners, and volunteers who’ve helped make this work possible. In observance of National Non-Profit Day in the U.S., let’s talk about Vaco Cares! What is it? ❤️ An employee-funded 501(c)(3) charitable organization that allows employees of Vaco Holdings and its collective of brands to directly and immediately impact members of Vaco Holdings' global community by providing financial relief in times of unexpected and dire need. When did it start? ❤️ In 2017, a series of tragedies hit near and dear to Vaco Holdings' employees. The organization rallied together to provide assistance during those trying times, and Vaco Cares was established to help thoughtfully prepare to assist those in need. How is it funded? ❤️ Employees throughout Vaco Holdings and its collective of brands elect to deduct a set amount per paycheck to donate to the cause. Learn more about Vaco Cares here: https://lnkd.in/e6fptk_K #NationalNonprofitDay | #charity | #VacoCares | #companyculture

Around 8 to 14 million tonnes of plastic ends up in the ocean each year. That’s like dumping a TRUCKLOAD of plastic into the ocean EVERY MINUTE. Most of it comes from: • Rubbish on land: Plastic waste from cities, litter, and illegal dumping that isn’t managed properly. • Single-use plastics: Things like plastic bags, bottles, and food wrappers. • Fishing gear: Old or lost fishing nets and equipment also add a lot of plastic to the ocean. The most powerful way to help is to stop using single-use plastics. For example: • Use reusable bags, water bottles, and containers instead of disposable ones. If more people do this, it will reduce the amount of plastic trash and help protect the oceans and ultimately our future.
Impact update: we have now removed over 20 million kg (over 44 million lb) of trash from oceans and rivers worldwide.🌊 As a non-profit, every individual, foundation, and corporate ally who joins our cause helps us move closer to a cleaner future for our oceans. Do you want to contribute to the largest cleanup in history? You can make a donation or give the gift of impact this holiday season by donating on behalf of someone else, such as friends, family, or employees, and receive a gift certificate: https://lnkd.in/d27Unyw.
Milestone: over 20m kg of trash removed

Last night was very humbling. I had the opportunity to return to the place that gave me the tools to restart my life, and I will forever be grateful for that. Since it is Movember, which focuses on Mens Health, I have a story to share. I recently passed the 6yr mark of sobriety, but it felt a bit different this year. The first 5 years of sobriety, I took it very seriously and put all my effort into changing my frame of mind from very negative to positive. After receiving my 5-year medallion last year, things changed. I started taking every aspect of my life for granted because my life on paper looked great. I didn't take my sobriety and spirituality serious, my ego was telling me, "Jeff, you don't need that anymore. You got this." I was isolating myself and didn't reach out to my positive influences, which led to months of depression and recently planning my demise. Normal people would say, "You have a great life, how could you be depressed?" I suffer from depression because I'm not one of the normal people. I've suffered from depression since I was 13 years old, but fortunately, I now have the tools to recover. I share this because many men don't have the tools available. Please, if you're suffering inside, make a call and talk to someone. It may save your life. Take care of yourselves. 9-8-8: Suicide Crisis Helpline #mensmentalhealth #sobriety #Movember #recovery #depression
Last night, it was an honor for Klass Drywall to attend Westover Treatment Centre's Thursday Night Meet & Greet. We were proud to present them with a donation raised through our second annual Golf Tournament, and we’re grateful to see how our community continues to come together for such an important cause. Klass Drywall President, Jeff Pomietlarz, also had the privilege of speaking at the event, where he shared his personal experiences and offered words of hope and encouragement to those in attendance. It was a truly inspiring evening, and we’re thankful to be part of a network that supports healing and growth. #GivingBack #CommunitySupport #KlassDrywallinc #WestoverTreatmentCentre #HopeInAction #construction
