Investing in nature is investing in our future. As the final days of #COP29 negotiations approach, governments must recognize nature’s critical role in climate action. Today, a global group of more than 70 NGOs, business coalitions, Indigenous Peoples organizations, and influential individuals has issued an urgent ‘COP29 Nature Statement’ calling for strong recognition of nature in the New Collective Quantified Goal on Climate Finance text under discussion in #Baku right now.
