Over 1.5 days at JW Marriot,Nairobi, we delved into the power of system thinking to drive regenerative food production, tackle food loss and waste, and transform waste into usable products. With strong linkages to energy, finance, climate change, and more, circular food systems hold immense potential for driving resilience, job creation, and gender transformation. Our discussions didn't stop there! We also explored lessons from existing initiatives including Circular Food Systems for Rwanda Project and embarked on the co-design of a multi-stakeholder initiative focused on unlocking the potential of local businesses, smallholder farmers, and global supply chains to drive the adoption of circular food system models
