VR used to be prohibitively expensive, restricting its use in L&D to only high value or high danger training situations. That is no longer the case. Now, even FE colleges are using Immersive VR learning experiences, with personalised automated feedback, to deliver measurable improvements in public speaking and presentation skills. Students using the Bodyswaps VR simulator to practice twice received significantly higher scores from independent assessors.

🎓 Proven Impact: How VR Transforms Public Speaking Skills in FE Colleges!🎤 We’re excited to share groundbreaking findings from a randomized control trial conducted by WhatWorked Education . This study highlights the effectiveness of Bodyswaps' Public Speaking & Presentation Skills module, showing how VR is revolutionizing skill development in FE colleges. 🚀 🔍 Students trained with Bodyswaps received significantly higher presentation ratings from independent judges compared to those with traditional tuition. The effect size of 0.45 underscores the strong positive impact of VR training. 💪 Engagement matters: Success depended on how often students used the simulator.
