Some of the most important lessons I have learnt throughout my 30 plus years career as a writer. Be creative. Think differently, play with words and enjoy doing so. Be brave. Dare to speak up and try something new. Even when at times you may fail. Be the best. Always give it your best shot, and the results will speak for itself. Be knowledgeable. Make it your daily mission to learn something new, anything. Be humble. No matter how good or successful you are, humbleness will take you far.

Adulting is really tough! And the word 'Responsibility' is heavy in itself. → Some days are so beautiful & Productive that they shift your entire focus from all that isn't going right. →However some days are so terrible that you find it hard to get out of bed. 🖇️But you still do, Isn't? You know that, → this is not working for you today But you still do! → Are you giving up no right? → Because you can't, You have some responsibility Dekhooo, → Everything is temporary, ▪️Your sadness ▪️Your happiness → If you are happy today, tomorrow you will be sad! →If you are sad today, tomorrow you will be happy! Is there anyone who is happy or sad all the 365 days? 🔺I know, it's easy to say, but hard to do! ▪️Remember the harder you work, the more satisfaction & results you will get! I’ve been a writer of one sort or another most of my life, professionally so since I got out of college. In that time, I’ve learned and re-learned *how* to be a writer more times than I can count. I’d like to think I’ve gotten better at it, but I’m not exactly impartial. I don’t work faster or slower than I used to, but my imagination and thought process travel further and deeper these days. I’m more organized, or maybe that’s just the framework, mental and actual, that I’ve built along the way to keep things more or less on track. I have learned to recognize flaws in an idea or concept earlier, and to better clock when they’re fatal ones. I’ve certainly become more blunt and merciless in rendering judgment: Kill your darlings, etc. Maybe the most important thing I’ve learned is to avoid thinking of anything as done. Sometimes, the best idea reveals itself all at once. More often than not, it unfolds and evolves over time — especially the time to step away from the problem for a few hours or a day and come back to it with a tabula more rasa. Perhaps that’s just the wisdom of experience.

Today, I’m finally returning to my roots—philosophy, my first and deepest passion. Over the past few years, my work as a content writer and translator has demanded so much of my focus that I found myself drifting further from the intellectual pursuits that once fueled me. The constant pressure to meet deadlines, optimize content for business goals, and stay aligned with brand voices can often leave little room for the deeper, more personal explorations of thought and creativity. For anyone in the field, it’s easy to get caught up in the fast-paced demands of content creation. But when your work becomes purely transactional, something gets lost. I’ve realized that staying too long in this cycle can dull your sense of curiosity and limit your ability to think outside the box. For me, stepping back into the world of philosophy is a way to reignite that intellectual spark. I encourage other writers and creatives to make time for the passions that truly inspire you. It’s not easy, especially when deadlines loom, but carving out space for these pursuits isn’t just a luxury—it’s a necessity. When we nurture our intellectual side, we not only feed our creativity, but we also become better at everything we do.

🌟 Embracing My Authenticity Beyond Excuses As a confident writer with years of experience working for established brands, I’ve always hesitated to share my personal thoughts and opinions on social media. The fear of vulnerability coupled with excuses like valuing privacy, and my demanding full-time role have kept me from taking that leap. Recently, while reading James Clear's book ‘Atomic Habits,’ I had a revelation. Those jitters I feel can be reframed as an opportunity—an opportunity to present my authentic self, inspire others, and create something wonderful. James Clear wisely said, “The key to finding and fixing the causes of your bad habits is to reframe the associations you have about them.” So here I am, sharing a life experience with you. I call myself a writer, but when I write something and put it out there into the world it can feel scary and like I am exposing myself. Which is true I am. Then I read what I wrote and find typos and grammar mistakes and it makes me wonder do I have the right to call myself a writer. I have to stop myself because I know where this thought process can take me. A black hole of negativity, not beneficial to me or anyone else. I referred to writing but I find that this applies to a lot of areas in my life. My parenting style, or being a good mother that feeds her children only good things or doesn't get frustrated and take it out on her children or other people close to her. I feel this when I struggle with my weight, and eating habits. I would like to show the world that I have it together and I am doing it right. Silly? Right? There again what is right? BUT the truth is I fail more often than not. Why am I sharing this because I want you who may feel this way to know it is okay. It really is, we are all a work in progress and each day we can be and do better than yesterday. Perfection is so elusive. Who defines perfection and what does it look like? I believe we all have an idea of what is perfection but it would vary from person to person.
