On Friday’s, we celebrate. We’re toasting to this week’s wins 👇👇 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏆 Signing two new clients 🏆 Soft launching our new “Ultimate Life Hack” package 🏆 Workshopping a potential joint venture with a respected Canberra business 🏆 Pitching to and locking in meetings with potential clients ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ These wins represent a lot of work over the past few months, during which time the business landscape changed and became very quiet. I’ve looked at this new landscape through a lens of opportunity; taking time to “look under the hood”, get creative, become more visible, go back to my roots of traditional marketing (*read, pounding the pavement), invest in my network and find (and pitch) synergies with complementary businesses. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My brother always says “don’t wait for a problem to solve itself. Go out and solve it yourself.” I’ve identified my competitors and done the opposite, I’ve leant into personal interactions not automated ones, my team and I have worked behind the scenes on improving client experiences, I’ve relied heavily on the internal strength passed down to me, and I’ve optimistically waited for the momentum to take hold. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ To our potential future client, luckily for you, we’re not slowing down. We’d love for you to be our next big win. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ To my fellow business owners, I’d love to know your win for the week. No matter how big or small, each deserves to be celebrated. Remember, little by little, a little becomes a lot. Re-gain your momentum. Reach out to another business owner to brainstorm (my phone is always on and I love thinking up fun ideas for businesses other than mine!), book that free discovery call with a business coach, and always be humble and hopeful. What work experience opportunities do you have so that we can help to facilitate the establishment of strong relationships with your next generation of employees? How can we work together in our local communities to make them more vibrant and successful so that the future is brighter and provides hope for our children? 💡

✨You Win Some, And You Lose Some✨ This week was a big week for me, not only was it #NationalVolunteerWeek – which is a huge deal in my line of work, but I was honoured to receive both the Community Leader Award and the Empowering Leader Award from CSAE; but, its true that ‘you can’t win them all’ and in the case of the Speaker Slam Brand Builder Competition – it turns out that even the Top-10 wasn’t in the cards for me this week. But ‘life’s a journey, not a destination’ (wow heavy on the quotes today, huh?); I gained and learned so much from competing: 🧩First, a huge thanks to everyone who took the time to vote, and to send words of encouragement, being reminded that I have a great community behind me and my work, was heartwarming. 🧩I had a chance to spend some focused time thinking about my brand, my work, and how I can continue to fulfill my mission “To Change the World, By Inspiring Actions, That Amplify My Impact” in alignment with my motto: “Everyone Must Serve”. 🧩Finally, while I won’t have a chance at the $10,000 value prize pool, I still got a chance to give my brand a boost, by joining a competition in which 2335 votes were cast – that’s A LOT of eyeballs; and by getting a chance to share with my network my ‘positioning graphic’. Lots of members of my community subscribe to and read #TuesdayThoughts, many more might know my mission, motto or my tag line: “small actions, BIG IMPACTS”, but you might not know about all of the opportunities we might have for collaboration through my speaking, writing, and consulting offerings. 🩵💜Thank you! I have been learning and honing my skills of creating video content...did I mention I can't stand video? Ever since I was a little girl I hated being video taped, listening to my own voice...🤢 Now, add in learning new software on both laptop and mobile device AND having to regroup every time the algorithms change...I am feeling😵💫🤣 But, here I am, continuing to try...not give up. Keep learning, evolving, etc. I now know why creating a great video is expensive and appreciate those who are experts at it. 😍 If you have feedback, I am all ears.
