His answer to my question about the number one lesson he's learned in his journey struck a chord. He said, 'Show up and be in service.' In his earlier career as an electronics engineer, Richard was in a competitive environment, always bidding against other companies. But when he started with IBI (Income Builders International), he learned a different approach from his first business mentor, Bernie Dohrmann. Richard learned to ask, 'How may I serve you?' instead of focusing on 'me, me, me.' He emphasized that stepping out of ego and significance is crucial. He also mentioned the importance of referring others without expecting anything in return, just because it's the right thing to do. Imagine if everyone in business adopted this approach.
