Whilst out on a boxing morning family walk I thought I’d check out the nearby newly colour coated tennis courts, although my critical eye was drawn to many areas of the facility that could do with a conditional survey, the improvised security measures that the private club had installed got me thinking. Tennis tip: Changing speeds can create opportunities. - Variation can create many opportunities. You see in this point where the ball is elevated with a cross court slice at a slower speed. This makes the opponent hesitate just enough for the next ball to be hit hard and flat up the line. The change of speed creates the opening because the opponent is only slightly behind the tempo. - It only takes a small change in speed to make a big difference.
