This week has been a challenging one for me—juggling the roles of a mother and a leader. Balancing these responsibilities can feel like being pulled in multiple directions, but I’m grateful for an organization that truly understands the unique challenges faced by women. With their support and understanding, I could prioritize where I needed to be – with my daughter. During this time, I could focus on my family, knowing that Seneca values work-life balance. For International Women's Day, I want to express my gratitude to Seneca who understands the challenges faced by women who balance motherhood and leadership roles and Caroline R. for her leadership and understanding. It's refreshing to work for a company that not only acknowledges the struggles of working mothers but actively supports them in finding balance. Today, I want to extend my gratitude not only to Seneca but also to all the incredible women in my life who inspire me and give me strength. Let's continue to uplift and support each other, not just today, but every day. And remember, this quote from this year’s IWD campaign 'When women aren't present, we must ask: 'If not, why not?' When women are discriminated against, we must call out poor practice. When the treatment of women is not equitable, we must take action.
