As the linked article highlights, it’s a hidden condition that can creep up even in people who don’t drink alcohol. A year ago, my dad, who had always been fit and healthy, discovered that one of his main arteries was 90% blocked. What were his symptoms? Just a 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚. Who would’ve thought such a minor issue could point to something so serious? 😢 Thankfully, he acted on it, but it was a 𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗲-𝘂𝗽 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 for my family and me.
