Had the privilege of listening to Kevin Turpin tell his story and share the latest on weavix during Wichita Startup Week. He spoke about resilience, persistence and not letting people down. He reminded the audience to react to opportunities, set the bar high and don’t let up. In talking about culture, he spoke about being loyal, trustworthy, having integrity and leading by example. One of my favorite pieces of advice: “There is good in everybody. Can you pull it out of them?” We come from the same small town and it’s amazing to see what he’s accomplished. He’s the perfect example of taking an unconventional path to success.
