We need to recruit corporations and job creators like Joby Aviation to our states. They are the future and have no other agenda but the future. Recruiting forward-thinking companies like Joby Aviation, which is working on innovations in electric air taxis, could indeed position states as leaders in future-focused industries. These companies bring high-quality jobs, stimulate economic growth, and often drive advancements in technology, infrastructure, and sustainability. By attracting businesses that prioritize innovation and future-oriented solutions, states can create hubs for cutting-edge industries, from green technology to advanced manufacturing. Supporting these companies can also inspire local educational institutions to build relevant programs, aligning workforce skills with industry needs. Plus, companies like Joby Aviation focus on green transportation, which aligns with broader sustainability goals and may attract talent interested in working on transformative, meaningful projects. To succeed in recruiting these job creators, states might consider offering incentives like tax breaks, grants for research and development, infrastructure improvements, and partnerships with local universities. By positioning themselves as supportive environments for innovation, states can drive economic growth in a way that aligns with a future-focused agenda that benefits both the business and the local community.
On Veterans Day, we express our gratitude every person who has served for their commitment and dedication to our nation — and in particular the many veterans who are part of the Joby team. Thank you for your service, and Happy Veterans Day!

Happy Veteran's Day! What is service? Why do we choose to serve? When talking to most veterans, a sense of duty comes into play... But what does that mean? I would like to think that setting a positive example for those around us would be one definition. As a father and business owner, I am constantly reminded every day of the importance of setting a good example. For military veterans, our experience provide important examples of how we can do this which translate to our everyday lives. - Leading from the front. As a person who wants to set a positive example and exact real change in this world, leading from the front is one of the most important things we can do. Leaders who expect their coworkers to do things that they wouldn't do themselves will never set the example needed, and will not retain quality people over the long term. - Leaders eat last. Make sure that those around you are taken care of prior to yourself. - Honor those who serve and continue to serve. Regardless of our own accomplishments, we need to help build others up so that they can accomplish more in their lives as well. The more we build people up, the more positive change ripples across the world. For those that have served... Thank You!

Honoring Veterans on Veterans Day Today, we take a moment to honor the dedication and sacrifices made by the men and women who have served in our armed forces. Here are a few unique facts that remind us of the incredible contributions of our veterans: 📅 A Legacy of Service: Veterans Day originated as "Armistice Day" in 1919, marking the end of WWI. By 1954, it became the Veterans Day we know today, a time to honor veterans of all conflicts. 👩💼 Leaders and Problem-Solvers: Did you know? Veterans make up 10% of all U.S. business owners. Their leadership skills and work ethic often translate into successful ventures that benefit communities across the nation. 🌍 Continued Dedication to Service: Veterans remain active in their communities after active duty. Statistics show that veterans are 30% more likely to volunteer, proving that their commitment to helping others never fades. 🕰️ Continuous Vigilance: The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery has been guarded continuously since 1937, a powerful symbol of commitment and respect. Today, let's celebrate and thank our veterans for their bravery, integrity, and dedication, which inspire us all. #VeteransDay #HonoringService #Gratitude

3 simple ways you can honor a veteran this Monday, on Veterans Day. 🇺🇸 🪖Veterans Day (Nov 11) is a time to recognize all U.S. military veterans—living or deceased—for their service. 🎖️While Memorial Day (last Monday in May) specifically honors those who died in service. This Monday, I encourage you to do 3 simple things to show your gratitude: 1. Recognize Acknowledge their service with a simple, heartfelt “Thank you for your service.” It goes a long way. 2. Inquire Show genuine interest by asking questions like, “What branch did you serve in?” or “What was your role?” People appreciate when others take the time to ask about their experience. 3. Listen This is the most important part. Give them the space and time to share their story, and really listen. If they want to talk, be there for them. Ask follow-up questions like, “What was one of your most memorable moments?” If a veteran is reluctant to share, that’s okay too—simply thank them for their service and respect their space. These small gestures can make a big impact. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope these tips help you connect with and honor the veterans in your life.
