Gathering in Gratitude & Community: Virtual Networking Event + Panel Join us for an empowering virtual networking event and panel discussion. This format ensures you can present yourself and your business effectively, facilitating the formation of meaningful connections. The second half of the event, we transition to a panel discussion featuring powerful businesswomen. One question we get asked often is how we plan our seating for each event? Our planning process includes taking note of ladies who are joining us on their own - or for the first time - or have come with one friend - in every element of our program this is so important to us. We've all experienced going to a big event not knowing anyone and feeling nervous or anxious about whether or not we'll have someone to talk to. Enjoying conversation over lunch is the top of our important list for all of our guests. It's at the very heart of our day, and why we've chosen the long lunch format. We know from years of events that when you sit on big round tables you can only talk to the two people on either side of you. Often you can't see the people opposite to you, let alone talk to them. So where possible we hope to work with our venues to have long tables, so you can talk to many more women in the room. Ladies💖, I hope you had an enjoyable time, and thank you so much for stepping out of your comfort zone to meet some new ladies! We hope you made some connections & start building some friendships with the ladies you met! 🫶🏽 💫 Some tips + guidance to help grow those possible friendships: 💞Make sure to get some sort of contact info from the person you vibed with (instagram, phone, etc.)- it can be scary to ask, but we super encourage you too! 💞 Suggest to create a group chat with the girls you met & make a potential plan within the first 1-2 weeks 💞 Don’t be afraid to reach out to the girls you got contact info from! It never hurts to ask if they want to meet up or ask in the group chat if anyone is free to do something for that weekend or the next week. 💞Sometimes plans fall through or the group chat gets silent & maybe you never get to meet up, and it does suck, but unfortunately, it’s common & you’re not the only one experiencing this. It is not YOU! It IS difficult to not only make friends but keep them, but keep trying! You are not alone!! Keep coming to events, make an introduction post on our FB group, comment on intro posts of other ladies, keep an eye out on ladies trying to make plans on the FB group, check out the FB group chats or Geneva group chats once in a while & see who wants to meet up! 💐What other suggestions do y’all have on how to make friends or build those new connections to eventually become friendships?
