Earlier this year, we started working on something a little different… → Building Sure Training. For years, we’ve done all sorts of training within Sure Group. - It’s a big part of making sure our team is confident. - It gives our team the skills needed to excel. - And it drives productivity & performance. Yet so many businesses brush training aside. ↳ Or rarely do it or consider it a tick-box exercise. Even though the stats speak for themselves: ✔️ 68% of employees would stay longer if trained. ✔️ 24% increase in productivity with effective training. ✔️ And companies can see a 218% profit boost with training. So for the past few months, we’ve been providing bespoke training packages. To suit various work environments. ↳ From gyms to factories to bars to warehouses. - We take a collaborative approach. - Businesses choose when, where & how. - And we’ve currently 9+ courses available. Plus, some awesome feedback so far! Excited to see Sure Training grow & make an impact. If you want to know more, just fire me a message.

Launching corporate training is a big deal, and it's not just about the budget. To make sure your training initiatives are aligned with your business goals, always start with a comprehensive training needs analysis! Here’s a quick reminder on how to assess learner knowledge and skill gaps properly to launch training that always pays off: 💡Analyze the present situation. Take a hard look at what's happening right now. Are employees meeting their targets? How's the current performance impacting customers? Get the full picture. 💡Identify business and performance goals. Define what success looks like. What should be happening instead of what's currently going on? Nail down your end goals to steer your training direction. 💡Trace a root cause. It's detective time — dig into why there's a gap in performance. Is it a lack of knowledge, skills, or motivation? Knowing the “why” helps tailor your “how”. 💡Consider potential solutions. Brainstorm the how-to. What must employees learn to hit business targets? And importantly, what's stopping them from getting there right now? Pinpointing these lets you plan training that tackles the real issues. Was this helpful? Share your thoughts in the comments! 😉

Take your training programs in a whole new direction. As a trainer I've grown numb to all the "can we just add this new session" or "hey, have you thought about starting to do....". Don't get me wrong, we NEED that input from the companies we serve. But taking ideas from the peanut gallery of training "experts" could distract your learning strategy from the overarching needs of the company. So use this approach to get far better results. Then if you get a good idea from your colleagues (and you will) you can pivot to adjust. If you get a wack-a-doodle idea you have a natural out. Does your company take this approach?

Facing challenges in measuring the impact of your training programs? I once struggled with exactly that. It felt like we were pouring resources into training without truly understanding its effectiveness. To tackle this, I took a systematic approach. First, I implemented structured feedback mechanisms through tools like SurveyMonkey, allowing us to gather insights before and after courses. We focused on metrics like participant satisfaction and knowledge retention, which helped clarify areas needing improvement. The breakthrough came when we started to analyze the data deeply to track how training influenced job performance. Looking at concrete outcomes – like a 72% improvement in meeting goals – made it clear how our training decisions affected our team’s success. The biggest lesson? Never underestimate the power of data. It transforms you from guessing to knowing, allowing for informed decisions that unlock potential. For anyone facing similar challenges, start with clear metrics and tools designed for evaluation. Regularly check in on progress and adjust. Empower your training journey! Let’s meet to discuss how you can implement effective tracking for your training initiatives. 🚀📊

Training programs can be a powerful tool for businesses, but there are some common areas where organizations falter in their training and development initiatives: • Lack of clear goals. • One-size-fits-all approach. • Focus on short-term results. • Neglecting follow-up and reinforcement. • Not evaluating and adapting (training programs).
