VP Kamala Harris is not on the 2024 Forbes 100 Most Powerful Women in the World List. Take a look for yourself... Beyonce, Oprah, Taylor Swift, Caitlin Clark, Susie Wiles & many other brilliant women but not the current VP of the USA. If it wasn’t so ridiculous and offensive, it would be funny. I’ve spoken with a few friends about this and here are my thoughts: You determine your value. No👏one👏else. But, you have to decide, accept, and own that you are enough— no matter what. Period. If you live your life based on the opinion of others, then you’re screwed. The world is fickle and will gaslight you. Here today, gone tomorrow. The media once called Elon Musk a genius; now, he’s a menace. In Harris’ case, she made the list in previous years, just not this one. The same year she revived the Dem Party from life support. Raised nearly $1B in 107 days and became the first woman of color to accept a major party nomination, all as a sitting VP. It wasn’t “enough” or “didn’t matter” in this specific case. Overworking isn’t the answer either. If can happen to Harris, it’ll happen to the rest of us. Instead, you must be grounded in your identity. And remind yourself who you are every single day. Then, and only then, will you be emancipated from the need of external validation. So, whether you’re 1 or 101 you never question who you are. Choose yourself. #women #leadership #empowerment #motivation #news #politicswithpurpose
