What is the difference between intelligence and wisdom? I’ve always sensed they have emphasized different capabilities. Adam Grant has once again managed to verbalize it, emphasizing judgement, self-control, and longer-term thinking; ”Wisdom is converting learning into good judgment”. #leadership #learning #wisdom

If you want to feel like a powerful adult, you must decide what’s right and wrong. Growing up means recognizing that decisions have consequences, making those decisions voluntarily, and being willing to deal with the outcomes. Determining what is right or wrong is essential for making informed decisions. It’s important to look up to wise mentors and occasionally trust their judgment because learning and growing are crucial parts of the process. But ultimately, you have to make your own call. This is the only way to truly grow up. #Leadership #DecisionMaking #PersonalGrowth #Responsibility #Adulting #Mentorship

True wisdom lies in the ability to remain open and humble. Smart people understand that everyone and everything has something to teach, constantly seeking knowledge and insight from the world around them. Average individuals grow only through their personal experiences, while those who think they already know it all miss countless opportunities for growth. Let this be a reminder to stay curious and embrace every chance to learn—whether it’s from a mentor, a colleague, or even a mistake. The moment we believe we have all the answers is the moment we stop growing. Choose humility, and greatness will follow. #morningpost #morningmotivation #morningroutine #morningvibes #morningthoughts #morningquotes #W_Ezz_dom #keeplearning #keeplearningkeepgrowing #keepmovingforward #keepgrowing #keeptrying #keepgoing #perseverance #persistence #consistency #commitment #leadership

It's been an absolute pleasure for 3 months continuous learning about conflict resolution! As saying goes:"Every conflict we face in life is rich with positive and negative potential. It can be a source of inspiration, enlightenment, learning, transformation, and growth or rage, fear, shame, entrapment, and resistance. The choice is not up to our opponents, but to us, and our willingness to face and work through them!" Ultimately, it's a people business in hospitality! Conflict is inevitable in life. When we are dealing with people, always remember we are not dealing with creatures of logic, but creatures of emotion. #daretotake #stayinspired #emotionalhospitality #happylearning #cornelluniversity #ecornell #conflictresolution #makeadifference #leadership #operationalexcellence #peoplefirst #leadbyexample

"Accountability is the glue that ties commitment to the result." One of the most important traits you can have as a leader, professional or just a human being is accountability. The accountable person takes ownership over their actions without automatically blaming others if the desired result isn't reached. This kind of behaviour inspires trust 🔐, confidence and better performance from those around them. At Spirit of Math, students learn accountability by working together in the classroom towards the best possible outcome. They communicate with one another, listen to different perspectives and ask clarifying questions. This mindset will serve them well in the future as the problem solvers and leaders of tomorrow. #SpiritOfMath #SpiritOfEnglish #SpiritOfTech #Accountability #Responsibility #Obligations #Leadership #Trust #Teamwork #EducationMatters #StudentSuccess #FutureLeaders

"Learning will become the crucible in which connections and bonds are formed across organisational boundaries" Chris Pirie A productive week learning and collaborating, and as a result doodling and pondering. This doodle comes from a great conversation with the very creative Evan Weselake CSHR PCC - What does it take to unlearn? How ready are you to revisit conscious competence when you have been thriving in unconscious competence? As an adult, how prepared are you to learn from others who see it differently? #leadership #leadershipdevelopment #learning
