Delighted to have been part of the Transforming Together Summit, an initiative organized by @edenventuregroup aimed at localizing the insights of Gatesfoundation Goalkeepers report which Creative Cultural Revival was one of the partners of. As a fervent advocate for maternal health issues and the founder of CreativeCulturalRevival, I seized the opportunity to underscore the pivotal role of the Creative sector in advancing these crucial discussions through the art of storytelling. At the summit, alongside the esteemed ED of Operations and Programs at Creative Cultural Revival Africa; Maimuna Sani Magaji, I emphasized the profound impact of storytelling in raising awareness and mobilizing action around maternal health challenges. By weaving narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, we can bridge gaps in understanding and ignite empathy, driving meaningful change in healthcare outcomes for women worldwide. Today’s discussion, with Nadia Calviño Melinda French Gates and Jutta Urpilainen, underscores the intrinsic link between women’s economic empowerment and investments in their health. As longstanding partners, we are committed to breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for women to thrive, by delivering on 🌍 Two Key Initiatives 🌍 1. Human Development Accelerator (HDX): a groundbreaking financing mechanism which targets local solutions in healthcare. From vaccines to maternal and child health, HDX aims to advance health equity and resilience by providing innovative funding pathways. 2. Women’s Economic Empowerment in Kenya: a gender-focused microfinance scheme with KCB Bank Kenya. By addressing financial and technical obstacles, this initiative is a step toward closing the gender gap and fostering economic independence.
