Hello nerds, do you remember when Designers were also often Developers? Remember that fun phase where we had Front-end Designers and they could code and appreciated HTML and CSS and the industry appreciated them back? Well I do [insert "sure grandma" meme]. Anyways, my team (we call ourselves the Pink Gremlins) at honeycomb.io is hiring a Product Designer and while I'm not the hiring manager, I do think the role would benefit from a familiarity with front-end development. If that's your skillset or fits someone you know, send them my way! The role isn't public yet, but I can refer people immediately! Message me here if you have questions, happy to chat a bit about the role/team/project/number of slack emoji we have. (the attached image is a rejected team name, I think it still has potential)
....*very shyly raises hand* I think I would like to know more please.
Ha, I thought all product designers had front end skills from my time at GitHub
Hey Winston! If you’re still looking I’d be a good fit. I started my career as a front end engineer and transitioned to design a little over 10 years ago. Just sent you a connection request
Hey Winston, would love to chat with y'all
has so many questions
8moI should clarify this post... we are looking for strong Product Design experience... with a knowledge of front-end development, not the other way around!
