🚀 Day 10/160: GeeksforGeeks Challenge 🖥️ Today’s problem: Find the Maximum Sum of a Contiguous Subarray 🧮 Implemented using Kadane's Algorithm, a popular and efficient technique for solving this problem in O(n) time complexity.

🏅WorldQuant IQC 2024🏅 The International Quant Championship (IQC) 2024 is one of the world’s largest quant competitions. The competition takes place on WorldQuant BRAIN®, a simulation platform where competitors accumulate points by building alphas using historical market data and predefined operators to simulate equity positions. The competition ran for several months starting in March, with more than 𝟯𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 signing up. 📋 With Hugo Yeremian and Léon Thomir, we decided to team up under the team name 𝘗𝘪𝘱𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘉𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯. During this journey, we developed more than 80 different alphas to create the portfolio with the best sharpe ratio, returns and drawdowns as possible. 📈 With those results, we are happy to announce that we finished 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲, and 𝟭𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 on the leaderboard. We were also invited to an online event where we presented three of our alphas to a team of Quant Researchers and Portfolio Managers from WorldQuant. During this event, we competed against nine other top teams from Australia, Canada, Sweden, and other countries. We were ultimately awarded 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 and won 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝟬$! 🏆 Here is the certificate we received from this experience. It has been a great journey, and we learned many strategies that we could apply in the future. Thanks to WorldQuant for the organization!
