There are a number of parts that have led to me creating www.wegettobe.io and www.wegettobe.com I have never had to move off of the path of creating this because this question is still to be answered in full by the action replacing the question asked: I took this in 2014, watching this happen again and again for over 4 hours, people helping others, people who they do not know. "Why do we not do this outside of this setting?" How do we create this. With over 500 people packed shoulder-to-shoulder, the energy in the room was electric last week at the Singlife Learning Day. The keynote I did left me reflecting on how far @indaaamngoodcompany has come as an organization in just 2 short years. From humble beginnings, we've now touched the lives of thousands through our work in the sales community. But there is still so much left to do. The call to action could not have been clearer - together, through heart and service, all things are possible. The Motherhood Initiative is our answer to the systemic gaps that exist for moms in the workforce today. It’s a totally comprehensive, completely holistic support system for women and moms in the workforce AND the companies that employ them. When companies choose to work with The Motherhood Initiative, they get the best of both neli and ELIXR. ⭐ ELIXR’s consulting and coaching services help them build organizational muscle around understanding motherhood, its impact on businesses, and how to close the gaps for working moms and their teams. ⭐ neli’s platform gives moms the space to learn, share, and grow together, addressing the physical and emotional aspects of motherhood alongside corporate and career-focused content. Corporate leaders and career coaches work in tandem with doctors, therapists, and more to create content specific to working mothers and provide a holistic resource hub for the woman’s total well-being. ----------- There are so many fights that need to be fought in this space. I think, for me, that’s been one of the hardest things to navigate as a founder. Where do we focus? What do we do? How do we actually make an impact where it feels impossible? We decided early on that neli would be a collaborator—finding ways to partner with other people and organizations doing hard, good work and pushing forward together. I am beyond excited to start this work with Jess because we believe that this is the first domino that has to fall. We want moms to see their true value in the workforce and be equipped to THRIVE.  -AND- We want companies to *really* understand the value that their moms bring to the workforce and be determined to support them—because it’s better for their moms, for their businesses, for families, and for communities. Brijlall ( WSIB ) ANTISEMITISM, HATRED, AND RASESS; After a workplace accident, WSIB put me through hell and made my injuries twice as worse permanently then robbed me of my benefits just because of the colour of my skin. Sandra Di Carlo the case manager took me out from physio therapy that was helping me with my recovery and sent me to wsib Doctor and physio therapy that made my injuries twice as worse permanently. Deb Remekie, The lady at WSIB that robbed me of my benefit, she said that I can sell jewelry, she thinks because I am black I can steal jewelry and sell, so she decided to rob me of my benefit. And it's not a joke she said it verbally and in writing. And believed it or not the APPEALS TRIBUNAL agreed with her without a doubt or any question Atal. The Tribunal did not look at my file, apparently they don't even care to look at my file. Response from the Deputy Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development The ministry is responsible for the legislative framework for workplace safety and insurance in Ontario. The WSIB is an independent organization that operates at arm’s length from the ministry and oversees the administration of workplace safety and insurance benefits and services. As a result, the Minister and ministry staff cannot comment on or get involved in individual case NOT EVEN THE FAIR PRACTICE COMMISSIONER WILL INTERVENE.
