We're humbled by the response we've seen these last few weeks as women seek accessible reproductive healthcare online. We will continue to work to provide healthcare solutions for those who need it most. Thank you for covering this important story Pam B. The New York Times.
Life continues to be a whirlwind post election - the appointment of Donald Trump as president elect has sent women across the country into a panic, fearing for their reproductive health rights. Having seen this play out with the overturn of Roe v Wade, my client Wisp quickly jumped to action to ensure their members would continue to have access to birth control, emergency contraception, and where legal, medication abortion when they need it most…and the numbers were shocking. Wisp saw a 2,000% increase on EC sales 1 week post election results, with those numbers continuing to climb. My colleague Hanna Refvik and I saw this as an opportunity to insert Monica Cepak, MBA and Jennifer Dwork into the ongoing conversation, and to-date have secured over 600 media placements garnering over 8 billion impressions. Not only have the sheer amount of placements been amazing, but the team and I secured coverage in The New York Times, with the help of Pam B., a career goal for me since I started in PR 5+ years ago. I want to give a huge thank you to all of the reporters we’ve worked with to share this important story - everyone from CNN to Vogue to Cosmopolitan to NPR, and more. The work Wisp is doing continues to amaze and I am so honored to help share their company mission! Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/eJ-iuMs6
