Now that spring is nearly upon us, and Easter is around the corner, let’s have a look at Italian holiday culture. Public holidays in Italy often result in what locals fondly refer to as "weekend-bridges" or long weekends. These extended breaks can often become a gateway for families to escape the confines of big cities. The city-exit roads become full of people heading towards serene destinations, seeking solace in nature or exploring the historical treasures that adorn the Italian landscape. Then there’s the Italian summer holidays—a tradition that goes beyond a mere vacation. The summer break is not a fleeting affair; it's a weeks-long affair, often including all of August, that resonates with the belief that true rejuvenation can only be achieved through a complete escape from the demands of work and the hectic pace of daily life. Families flock to seaside retreats or charming villages, basking in the golden sun, enjoying delicious cuisine, and cherishing the art of dolce far niente—the sweetness of doing nothing. Come August, Italy embraces a unique rhythm of life. August is the sacred month of repose, a time when many Italians take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Offices close, businesses pause, and families retreat to the coast or countryside, savouring the precious moments of leisure. It's not just a vacation; it's a cultural phenomenon—a collective acknowledgment of the importance of rest, relaxation, and spending quality time with loved ones. In the heart of these celebrations lies the essence of Italian culture—a deep-rooted connection to family, tradition, and the art of savouring life's simple pleasures. So, don’t be afraid to immerse yourself in the tradition of Italian holidays, let us be inspired by the profound sense of togetherness and the importance of taking a pause to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! Happy Saturday! Did you know that many of us Brits love a holiday? But it's not just us—people from all over the world cherish their time away. Holidays are crucial for many, becoming an obsession for some. I completely understand how everyone has different preferences, and that's perfectly okay. We are allowed to be different. What I'm curious about today is: What activities do you enjoy during your holidays? It doesn't have to fit my presentation list I'd love to hear about what makes your holiday special. I realize that what I consider an ideal holiday might seem like hell to someone else, and vice versa. But that's what makes us human—it's fascinating to learn from each other's experiences and holiday choices. So, what's your favorite way to unwind and enjoy your time off? Let's share and learn from one another's holiday experiences! #Travel #Holidays #CulturalExchange #Diversity #LinkedInCommunity #travelagent #travelagency #travelspecialist #travelandtourism #traveladvisor #vacation #weekendgetaway #weekend #trips

20 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐣𝐚𝐦? The upcoming October 1st holiday, also known as National Day of China, offers a seven-day break filled with opportunities for travel and relaxation. However, with the influx of tourists during this period, avoiding crowds and ensuring a pleasant experience can be challenging. I have reached my holiday destination in only 6 hours instead of 20 hours in my previous round. As mentioned in my previous post, I started moving much earlier. While every other person is still doing their packing, I will be out there having the best time! And for the return? I am considering pushing it a little bit to the very end, so less people will be present and hence more fun! These are some other things you can do too 1. Go Off The Beaten Track. The waters of Shanghai’s Bund or several miles of the Great Wall may sound universal but they might not be the best idea during major holidays in China. 2. I have a AccuWeather app armed and ready and I’m preparing for every possibility. The rain or the sunshine will not matter, for I will be ready! And on the subject of being ready, I have an emergency kit with me – it is better to be over-prepared than under-prepared, no? 3. Organized and detailed plan for the trip? No way! This time I have everything under control and I can change gears whenever necessary. So that is it guys. It’s not always about running away from everyone out there but about having the experiences that will make the journey worth it. And how about you? Any good tips for overcoming the peak holiday season rush? Share them in the comments below – I cannot wait to read your perspective! _______________ 𝘐'𝘥 ❤️ 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘺𝘰𝘶! Moroccan Vacations Summer season is probably over (you never know these days) and the lazy vacation days came to an end. Morocco, as a country located in the Mediterranean belt of hot weather follows the pattern of other nations escaping from the cities in August. I’ve experienced the same thing in Italy – my colleagues actually threatened me that there may be a shortage of bread after Feragosto… Indeed most of our team and our business partners took well deserved vacations. And locations to visit in Morocco are very abundant. Long sea shore (on Atlantic and Mediterranean sea) welcomes amateurs of the water sports. Rif and Atlas mountains are good target for trekking and countryside walks. Moroccan historical cities offer variety of cultural objects and life pulsing suuks. And everywhere one can relax in hammams (treated with traditional black soap). Anyway, vacations are important. Very interesting year ahead of us; we should gather strength to cope with all challenges we’ll encounter in the next several months.
