💡💡💡WE💡💡NEED💡💡💡SOMEONE💡💡💡TO💡💡💡ASK💡💡💡 the questions and then share the response with us 🔔 Being openminded and listen to the context before reacting is required though - as we don't have to agree with the host or the guest being interviewed 🧐 What we need is insight so we can make the best choise for the better good of everyone involved in the outcome 🙂 Keep doing what you're doing, Lex Fridman 👌 We all need someone who both can ask the right questions with calm intellectual humility and then share both the questions and the answers with the global community, not to mention the ones being willing to show up and respond to the questions. 🧐 Just saying... #insights #ourfuture #knowledgesharing #society
Sometimes it feels like the world has all gone mad. I like to explore ideas, varied perspectives, historical context, all with calm intellectual humility. But people online want me to "pick a side" and to be outraged. Nah. I'll keep doing my thing. You do you. Love you all ❤

At the heart of St Cuthbert’s is our beloved motto ‘By Love Serve’. This motto is as relevant today as it was in 1915 and underpins everything we do here. Building on this legacy, we are proud to introduce our SERVICE values - a framework that encapsulates the spirit of St Cuthbert's and prepares our students for the challenges and opportunities of the future. Our values are intrinsically woven into our ethos of service, and will support our students to live 'By Love Serve' in their daily lives and future endeavours: Spirit – We have confidence and pride in who we are and know that we are connected to something greater than ourselves. Excellence – We strive for our personal best for the greater good. Resilience – We are strong in character and adaptable when approaching new challenges. Valour – We exemplify authenticity, courage and perseverance in matching our beliefs with action. Integrity – We embody honesty and respect in our learning, communities and environment. Collaboration – We harness our diversity and unique perspectives, recognise the power of teamwork and strive for shared goals. Empathy – We care for one another, with kindness, compassion and humility.

I think it is in large part because the things you like to explore feel, if not are, germane to many people in the present day, such as AI, politics, all kinds of cutting-edge technology. So people assume you, having absorbed and been exposed to so much information, might distill something insightful out of it. In other words, the relevance of your interests draws the curiosity about your personal stance, under the assumption that it will be insightful. I am sure some people have pushed aggressively. But I feel relevance plays a key role. Say, if you were interested in exploring things like if a double-arched supraorbital torus in Neanderthals is a plesiomorphic or a synapomorphic trait, would many people be clamouring for you to take a side? (Pick a side! We need to know if it’s plesiomophic you think!) I would take all this roaring as a compliment inwardly and appear rankled outwardly.

😂 While this meme gave me a good chuckle, it sparked my curiosity about the psychology behind how we choose to sign off our emails. 🤔 I’ve noticed that some folks skip sign-offs altogether, relying on their pre-populated signatures to convey their message. As for me, my email sign-offs have evolved over time. For a while, I stuck with simple options like "Thank you" or "Best regards." As a founder, I often used “In partnership.” Currently, I tend to favor “Kindly” or “Warmly,” as I believe it’s essential to express compassion and care, especially in these challenging times. I’d love to hear your thoughts: What influences your email sign-offs, and how do you sign off these days? 💬✨ Anyone have any insight on the psychology behind this? ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ 🗳️ VOTE ♻️ Please Share and Repost! 🛎️ Ring the bell icon on my profile to never miss my content. 📚Order my latest book, Inclusion Uncomplicated: A Transformative Guide to Simplify DEI, published by Forbes Books. ↗️Follow my business page Nika White Consulting 🗞️Subscribe to my LinkedIn Newsletter, Inclusion Insider 📝 Take any of my 4 LinkedIn Learning courses. 🎤 Hire me to be a keynote speaker at your next event or to facilitate an impactful learning experience at your organization. #NikaWhite

Exceeding Group Expectations Exceeding group expectations is a hallmark of effective teamwork and individual excellence. When a team surpasses the anticipated outcomes, it fosters a sense of pride and accomplishment among its members. Firstly, exceeding expectations reinforces the importance of clear communication and goal-setting within the group. By aligning everyone's efforts towards a common objective, individuals are motivated to perform at their best and collaborate more effectively. Secondly, surpassing group expectations often requires innovation and creative problem-solving. When faced with challenges or obstacles, team members must think outside the box to find solutions that not only meet but exceed the set goals. This process encourages a culture of continuous improvement, where individuals are empowered to take risks and explore new approaches to achieve success. Furthermore, exceeding group expectations can lead to valuable insights and learning opportunities. By analyzing what went well and why, team members can identify their strengths and areas for growth. This self-reflection fosters a culture of learning and development, where individuals strive to enhance their skills and knowledge to consistently deliver exceptional results. Ultimately, exceeding group expectations not only showcases the collective talent and dedication of the team but also cultivates a sense of trust and confidence among its members. It reinforces the belief that together, they can overcome any challenge and achieve extraordinary outcomes. By embracing the lessons learned from exceeding expectations, the group becomes better equipped to tackle future endeavors with resilience and determination. Enjoy the lesson!
