Here's a good one: a rare opportunity to work for an organisation with a global brand, extraordinary content, enormous potential, and huge ambition - but has done very little fundraising in recent years so this really is a blank canvas! The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is the oldest heritage conservation charity in the UK. It cares for the world’s greatest Shakespeare heritage sites and the world’s largest Shakespeare-related museum and archives, a Designated Collection of international importance. Essential experience & skills (with apologies to WS and Hamlet): · noble in reason · infinite in faculties · in form and moving: express and admirable · in action: like an angel · in apprehension: like a god Get in touch if you'd like to find out more.

𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 '𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝘂𝗽'? I think it was teacher for me. For others, it was policeman, banker, doctor or lawyer. Back in the 90s, we all gravitated towards the traditional jobs but times have changed and so have career paths. https://lnkd.in/d_6vhHHj Whether you are at the entry level of your #Career or you are at the exit level (if there is something like that), the principles of ethical practices at work stand. It was a pleasure speaking at Nairobi chapel Ngong Road, to the Blitz group-young adults of the topic Good Stewardship, focusing on choosing career path and find purpose. In summary, lessons that transformed my life: 1. Past success can be the enemy 2. ABCD of duty 3. Walk with God

𝗜𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗯 ? While applying for all types of different jobs could be interpreted as a lack of true motivation, starting a job that is not your "ideal job" rather than staying at home could show your desire to work and courage, and avoid unnecessary time-gaps on your resume. Hope World Wide PNG| COUNTRY DIRECTOR | Celebrating Success and the Power of a Well-Crafted CV! 🌟 Two months ago, I had the privilege of helping an extraordinary professional with 15-20 years of experience in diplomacy and development apply for a pivotal role as Country Director for HOPE Worldwide, PNG. This role attracted over 60 highly qualified candidates from across the globe, all vying for the position. Today, I am thrilled to share that the applicant whose CV I worked on was selected for this opportunity from a competitive field of applicants, including many respected colleagues. In fact, when she met with HR, she was told that her CV stood out for being outstanding and commanding—a true testament to her capabilities and experience. One of the deciding factors? The CV we developed together. 🎯 With a focus on her unique achievements, impact in the development sector, and leadership skills, we created a document that communicated her strengths powerfully and professionally. I’m deeply honored by her gratitude and recognition of the effort put into crafting her CV. Knowing my support contributed to her success is immensely rewarding. For anyone aiming to make a memorable impression in the job market, remember: a well-prepared CV not only showcases experience—it opens doors to new opportunities. If you’re looking for help making your experience and skills shine, feel free to reach out. 🌍💼 #CareerSuccess #ProfessionalDevelopment #CVWriting #Leadership #HOPEWorldwide #JobMarket #CVStandOut

I'm proud of how we interviewed for the Junior Fundraiser role at Intermission Youth. ➡ We are advertising to graduates of the Intermission Youth Theatre Programme and do not request any previous experience or a degree. It's a Junior Role, and we will be offering the training. ➡ We have kept the assessment short and sweet (under an hour). I also attached clear instructions and resources to help the candidates, such as a copy of the case of support, instructions on how to write a good application and a checklist for them to check their assessments. I also told all candidates they could call me if they had any questions. ➡ We gave all candidates a copy of the interview questions beforehand so they could prepare their answers. ➡ We included clear information about accessibility and reasonable adjustments for candidates with disabilities. ➡ I sent a good luck email to all candidates and words of encouragement because interviews are daunting, and you never know what additional things people have going on in their lives. Interviews and job applications need to change to accommodate young people, carers, disabled people, and anyone who might be job hunting while balancing other difficulties. I hope that by giving candidates. time to prepare, the process is less stressful for them. I don't expect them to do the role without proper training or access to resources. So why make the interview process more stressful and difficult than it needs to be? #inclusive #interview #leadership #kindness
