Here are some good tips to help your surfacing to prevent fall injuries. 1. There shouldn't be any cracks or holes in your unitary surfacing. 2. Depending on equipment fall heights determines the depth or thickness of surfacing. 3. Loose fill surfacing, such as rubber mulch, pea gravel and EWF, should be maintained at a proper depth. 4. Loose fill surfacing has to be maintained periodically to meet fall height requirements. 5. Unitary surfacing has a life span which can be extended with a good maintenance program.
