“What great leaders have in common is that each truly knows his or her strengths—and can call on the right strength at the right time.” ~ Don Clifton The WiLD programme uses two psychometric assessments to help participants uncover and embrace their unique strengths. Here’s what participants shared about their experiences: ⚪️ “It was refreshing to see everyone’s different strengths and preferences. I realised there’s no right or wrong—it takes all kinds of personalities and strengths to build a great team of female leaders.” ⚪️ “I always felt I lacked some traits for senior roles. But learning about my strengths has really given me the confidence to see I can take on and excel in those roles.” Ready to explore how WiLD can help you define or redefine your leadership style based on your strengths? This week, I had the privilege of engaging with some of our vice presidents as part of one of our leadership programs. These are a few key takeaways that resonated with me: 🌊 Even when faced with challenging experiences and tough decisions, we can still extend empathy to others as they navigate their own difficulties. 👐 Great leaders remain passionate about learning and embracing feedback, no matter their title or tenure. 🏗 Building relationships with peers outside of your department often provides fresh insights and can reveal blind spots you may have overlooked. 🚗 Authenticity and vulnerability are powerful drivers of growth, regardless of where you are in your career journey. These insights are a reminder that leadership is a continuous journey—one that we can all contribute to and benefit from, no matter our role or level. What are some leadership lessons that have resonated with you recently? How do you plan to incorporate empathy or vulnerability into your leadership style this week? I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences. #LeadershipDevelopment #GrowthMindset #EmpathyInLeadership #ContinuousLearning #VulnerabilityInLeadership #ProfessionalGrowth #LeadershipJourney #LeadersWhoInspire #PeerLearning #AuthenticLeadership #LeadersDevelopingLeaders

Sometimes good leadership is easier than it feels. You just have to be intentional. I had the chance yesterday to watch a good leader intentionally set culture in two steps. *First, she set clear expectations: "We have a lot of work to do today, and I can understand if our challenges are hard. That said, we're in this together, and I expect our words to be healthy and kind." *Second, she followed through and led with kindness. She worked hard, held us accountable for our work, guided us through different challenges, and we got a lot done. She showed us that you can be efficient and kind all at once. It was a long day, but a joyful one. At Ariel, we help smart leaders communicate better. If you own a leadership development track and want to sharpen your participants' communication skills, let me know. We can explore it together. #leadership #communication #skilldevelopment #communicationskills #leadbyexample
