I was honored to moderate this enriching conversation with two Nigerian powerhouses, Oladiwura (Diwura) Oladepo and Oni Faith Ayoola and here are some of the key takeaways: 1. Just start. Even if you feel like are you not equipped with all the necessary skills. Learning happens along the journey. 2. Communication is the most critical soft skill for you to master. No matter what job or industry you are in, these skill sets will set you apart. 3. Be your sister’s keeper. Care for one another, hold each other accountable, lift each other up, and take joy when the other one grows. As you uplift others, you'll find yourself lifted too. 4. We may not all be where we aspire to be, but the crucial step is to keep progressing forward, one step at a time. The worst thing you can do when feeling disheartened is stop. 5. Having a mentor can be a game-changer. 6. Find your tribe to thrive. If local communities aren't accessible, consider joining an online group of like-minded individuals. There are multiple groups you can join. Invest in this connection and witness a surge in both your positivity and productivity. For a deeper dive into these insights and more, I encourage you to watch the recording because more gems were shared. #InternationalWomensDay #WomensDay #DoMoreWithZoho
