Sarvpriye Foundation believes in the power of action over mere words. Our journey has been rooted in uplifting women through sustainable entrepreneurship, empowering them to lead change in their communities. Through transformative initiatives like Prakritik and Stri Star, we've helped hundreds of women artisans rise above adversity and contribute to the green economy. Whether it's combating domestic violence or promoting eco-friendly livelihoods. Our work stands as a true testament to the measurable impact we can have when we enable women and prioritize sustainability. The theme of this year’s COP29 Azerbaijan deeply resonates with Sarvpriye’s mission, especially with our focus on Sustainable Financing & Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) in addressing the climate crisis. This aligns perfectly with the session I will be speaking at COP 29, where we will explore how to integrate sustainable financing and equity into climate solutions. I look forward to connecting with like-minded organizations and individuals who share our passion for sustainable and inclusive climate action. Let's unite at COP 29 to ensure sustainable finance and equity are at the heart of our climate initiatives! #COP29 #SustainableFinance #GenderEquality #SocialInclusion #ClimateAction #GreenEconomy #WomenEmpowerment #SarvpriyeFoundation #ClimateJustice #GESI #SustainableDevelopment

🌞 Empowering Women in Solar: A Path to a More Inclusive Future 🌍 The solar industry, as a young and dynamic sector, holds incredible promise for fostering inclusivity and diversity. However, challenges remain in ensuring true equity, particularly for women. It’s crucial to continue the conversation about the progress we’ve made, the challenges we face, and the opportunities ahead. I want to take a moment to celebrate Brigite Gonçalves, my esteemed colleague Friend and the inspiring Head of Large-Scale Photovoltaic Solar and Storage Business at EnergyCon. Brigite has been a tireless advocate for innovation and diversity in our field, leading with passion, expertise, and a deeply human approach. Her feature in [PV Magazine] underscores the vital contributions of women in driving forward the energy transition. The solar sector is progressing, with initiatives such as mentoring programs and recognition of women’s achievements. But gaps remain, particularly in leadership representation and breaking unconscious biases. Addressing these challenges isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s a necessity. Diversity fuels innovation, strengthens decision-making, and ensures sustainable growth in our sector. I’m proud to work alongside leaders like Brigite who are paving the way for a more inclusive and dynamic solar industry. Together, we can create opportunities for the next generation of women to thrive and lead in this essential field. Let’s continue to make solar not just a beacon of clean energy but also of inclusivity and innovation! #SolarEnergy #DiversityInLeadership #WomenInSolar #Innovation #Sustainability

🌍 Bringing Climate Action and Gender Inclusivity Together 🌍 In emerging markets and developing economies (EMDEs), integrating climate action with gender inclusivity is not just an option—it’s essential. Companies that elevate women into leadership roles are better equipped to drive impactful climate strategies and accelerate the transition to clean energy. Yet, many face hurdles like knowledge gaps and limited resources. Success stories like Indonesia’s Bluebird Group, which focuses on electric vehicles and gender inclusivity and Brazil’s Neoenergia Elektro, which ties sustainability goals to increasing female representation, showcase the benefits of this integrated approach. These examples prove that aligning climate and gender goals can lead to transformative results. The IFC - International Finance Corporation’s latest report, "Gender-Responsive Climate Governance and the Role of Women Leaders", highlights the need for EMDEs to embrace this synergy. By combining these strategies, companies can make significant strides in both sustainability and gender equality. As a mother of two daughters and a son who will always advocate for them, this issue hits home. Women are leading the charge in clean energy, but they make up just 16% of the global workforce in this sector, despite representing nearly 40% of the total workforce. This gap is not just an equity issue; it's a call for change. Christiana Figueres, a shining example, helped shape the Paris Agreement and showed the power of women in leadership. But we still have a long way to go. The energy sector remains male-dominated, and women are underrepresented in key roles. Empowering women in clean energy is essential—not just for equity, but for the innovation and solutions we need to build a sustainable future for everyone, especially for my children. Let’s work together to create a brighter, more inclusive world. Share this message and help raise awareness. Women are leading the charge in clean energy leadership, driving innovation and sustainable solutions. Notably, women constitute only 16% of the global energy sector workforce, despite comprising nearly 40% of the total workforce. This gap highlights the need for greater inclusion and empowerment. A shining example is Christiana Figueres, the Costa Rican diplomat who played a pivotal role in the Paris Agreement, demonstrating the transformative impact of female leadership in climate action. However, challenges persist. The energy sector remains predominantly male-dominated, with women often underrepresented in technical and leadership roles. Addressing this disparity is crucial, as diverse teams are more likely to drive innovation and develop effective environmental solutions. Promoting gender diversity in clean energy is not just a matter of equity; it's essential for the industry's growth and the planet's future. By empowering women and ensuring their representation in leadership roles, we can accelerate the transition to a sustainable energy future. Share this post to spread awareness about the value of women in clean energy. Let's work together to champion diversity and create a brighter, sustainable future for all! These leaders highlight the immense contributions women are making and the importance of increasing gender diversity. Building a more diverse workforce fosters creativity, drives innovation and greater community engagement, which are essential for achieving the industry's ambitious goals. Listen in as we talk about the need for greater collaboration between government, academia, and private sector to create more career development programmes. Initiatives that are vital for building a robust pipeline of talent to meet the US government’s ambitious goal of 30 gigawatts of offshore energy by 2030. 🌍💡 By working together and changing the status quo, we can build a more equitable and sustainable future! 🌿💪 🔗 Subscribe and never miss out on another Planet Beyond Podcast on Spotify: https://spoti.fi/4d1pgQm Oceantic Network Vineyard Wind #WomenInWind #OffshoreWind #RenewableEnergy #Innovation #Fugro
