🌍 Preside 2.0 Recap 🌍 We’re energised by the incredible turnout on Monday, with 167 university society leaders from 130 societies joining us both in person and virtually at Bloomberg’s London HQ, one of Windō’s founding partners. Attendees traveled from 27 cities across the UK, and we were joined online by participants from Belgium, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, the Netherlands, and Russia—creating a truly global exchange of ideas. At Preside 2.0, we unveiled the Young Talent Values Report, featuring insights from 705 survey responses and packed with practical advice for young talent seeking values-aligned employers. Key highlights include: 💡 69% of young talent say they would leave a company if its values don’t align with their own. 💡 62% feel strongly that employers should disclose the graduate salary or salary range upfront on job descriptions, yet only 18% of full-time graduate roles offer this transparency. (Notably, 20% of our attendees shared via live poll that the absence of an upfront salary would prevent them from applying.) 💡 70% are actively seeking internships or full-time graduate roles that involve sustainability, though just a handful of the largest graduate employers currently offer such early career opportunities. As we navigate the future of work, it’s clear that young talent is prioritising companies that genuinely advocate for causes like racial justice, salary transparency, and sustainability.
