#Winterreflection As an adult winter was never my favorite season. The limited hours of daylight, the grayish shades and rain showers didn't really charm me. I just wanted this part of the year to pass by as quickly as possible so I could indulge in all the colours and light, the energy, the outdoor entertainment and fun that spring and summer symbolizes to me. In 2024 I was introduced to the work of Giles Hutchins and Laura Storm on Regenerative Leadership. In particular their model on natures adaptive cycle between the different seasons, how they naturally follow each other and depend on each other. Without winter there will not be spring and so forth. Spring and summer symbolized by creativity and growth. Autumn and winter symbolized by harvest, reflection and renewal. This was eye-opening to me. As a person I really enjoy the creativity and growth part – the spring and summer stuff. But I also get inspired by the reflection part and totally get the need to renew and regenerate. So I made myself a promise to really embrace the winter season this time. What is the status, you may wonder, at the beginning of January 2025? I love winter! (Ok, maybe less on a day like this with heavy snow and rain). But the concept of winter - taking time to reflect and renew. Being, planning, reading and seeking inspiration. I have come to appreciate that this season is crucial for the next, and that I need and enjoy the opportunities it offers me. And to be fair not all winterdays look like today. It can be equally beautiful and an invitation to be outdoors to enjoy the beauty. Happy 2025 and happy wintering. #regenerativeleadership #GilesHutchins #LauraStorm #vinatur #wintering #KatherineMay #winterreflection #happy2025

Winter Solstice ❄️ The Day Nature Reminds Us to Chill (Literally) For those living in the Northern Hemisphere, it's probably the shortest day and longest night of the year. It's like the earth’s version of saying, “Time to take a breather, you’ve earned it.” Solstice isn’t just a cosmic event; it's a metaphor❄️ It’s about transition, stillness, and the quiet reminder that every ending has a beginning. Everything in nature is pulling back now, resting, preparing for the next cycle. 🌠🛌🏻 The trees for e.g, don't sprout new leaves in winter - they rest, storing up for the seasons ahead. And yet as humans, we often resist this rhythm. The grind culture might tell us to finish 2024 with a bang, but nature? Nature somehow whispers: “Sit down. Breathe. You can’t pour from an empty cup.” This time of year often feels like a mad dash to prove something. Hit the goals. Close the deals. Do all the things on the final checklist. But here’s the thing—progress isn’t just about moving forward; it’s about knowing when to pause. Think about it tho. The Solstice teaches us that rest is part of the process. Reflection isn’t wasted time—it’s fuel for what’s ahead. And maybe, just maybe, it’s okay to hit “Pause” and take stock. ❄️What worked for you in 2024? ❄️What didn’t? ❄️What’s worth carrying into 2025 and what deserves to be left behind with your mismatched socks and expired almond milk? 😂 Finish well, not rushed. Let the solstice remind you that slowing down isn’t failure—it’s strategy. After all nature isn’t in a hurry, yet it gets everything done. So here’s to wrapping up 2024 with clarity, intention, and maybe even a little grace. The light is coming back, my friend. Be ready for it. ✨ Happy Winter Solstice & Merry Christmas to all Linkedin Fam! #WinterSolstice #EndOfYear #ReflectionTime

What are you letting go of this Winter Solstice? 🌙 The 21st December, the Winter Solstice, is the shortest day, the longest night, and a powerful moment to pause, reflect, and let go of what no longer serves us. Nature shows us the value of slowing down, releasing, and making space for what’s to come. For me, a big theme this year has been letting go of the belief that things have to be hard. That I need to hustle, push, and exhaust myself to achieve good results. The truth I’m learning? It doesn’t have to be that way. My intention for 2025 is simple: EASY. ✨ To trust more and flow more. ✨ To respect and protect my energy. ✨ For work, money, and life to feel lighter, simpler, and aligned. And something magical happened—once I set this intention just a couple of weeks ago, I began to notice the shifts. Opportunities, ease, and flow started showing up. So, as we transition into this new season, I’d love to ask you: 🌟 What are you letting go of this Winter Solstice? 🌟 What’s your one word or intention for 2025? Let’s inspire each other as we step into a new year—drop your word or intention below 💫 #WinterSolstice #Intentions #PersonalGrowth #LettingGo #NewBeginnings
