In Geneva, we were able to present the #TrustedHealthEcosystems project as a blueprint for a trustworthy, easy-to-navigate, interoperable digital health platform that works both at the national and international levels”, Sebastian explains.     “At Bertelsmann Stiftung, we fully endorse the statement’s focus on equity and fairness. Digital transformation is here to stay and we are committed to use it as a powerful tool to advance health and well-being for all. PharmAccess is a founding member of the Digital Transformations for Health Lab consortium, created to implement recommendations of The Lancet and Financial Times Commission on #digitalgovernance of #healthyfutures. These include: 🚸 Actively involving young people in designing digital policies, as they will inherit our digitally transformed health systems. 🛜 Ensuring that everyone has access to connectivity to reduce the world’s deep digital divide. This is especially true for the African continent, where one-third of the earth’s under-15 population will live by 2030 and internet access for the poorest populations was almost non-existent (Unicef, 2020). This year, when countries gather at several landmark meetings, the DTH-Lab calls on governments to work towards equitable digital health futures.
