A very French Japanese Bastille Day, celebrating France’s national Day and 1 year of Women in Tech Japan at the Ambassade de France au Japon 🇫🇷🇯🇵🇪🇺 With a few days in advance, close to 1000 guests celebrated France’s National 14th of July at the French Ambassador’s Residence in Tokyo last night. H.E. Philippe Setton opened the ceremony with an inspiring speech, highlighting the 100th anniversary of the Maison Franco Japonaise. He warmly welcomed Japanese Minister of Defense, Minoru Kihara, the guest of honour. Exactly 1 year ago, and at this same iconic venue, we launched Women in Tech Japan. We’ve come a long way since then. Our local team has grown, led by Keiko Murata 村田圭子 with the support of our advisor TSUTOMU YUMOTO, our APAC director Yuki Aizawa 愛澤友己.
