Christmas has come and gone, but the harsh reality is that domestic abuse doesn't stop when the holidays end. Did you know that 1 in 4 women in the UK experience domestic abuse at some point in their lives? Many survivors continue to face long-lasting challenges like trauma, anxiety, and PTSD, well into the new year and beyond. That's why we're reminding you that there's still time to make a difference. Our Christmas Campaign continues for a few more days, and we're working hard to reach our goal to fund a wellbeing programme for women and children escaping domestic abuse. Your support can help us give survivors the tools to heal and start fresh in the new year. Here’s how you can still get involved: ✅ Donate: every contribution brings us closer to our goal. ✅ Spread the word: share this post with your network. ✅ Partner with us to make a lasting impact. Domestic abuse doesn’t take a break, and neither do we. Let’s close out this campaign strong and bring hope and healing to those who need it most. 📩 Message us or visit https://lnkd.in/eMqEPDHd to donate. #EndDomesticAbuse #SupportSurvivors #christmas #christmascampaign #luton #WellbeingMatters

RACE 2 UPDATE! Join me in making a life-changing difference! I'm raising $10k to provide 5 survivors of human trafficking with 3 months of counseling through the Special Operations Finding Kids aftercare program. These courageous individuals deserve and need counseling to heal from unimaginable trauma and rebuild their lives. Let's give them the support they need to thrive again. Donate and share now and be a part of their journey to healing and hope. The link is in my Bio. #EndHumanTrafficking #SupportSurvivors" These survivors have endured unimaginable trauma, and counseling is crucial for them to address their emotional wounds, rebuild their sense of self-worth, and learn healthy coping mechanisms. Counseling can empower them to break free from the cycle of abuse and exploitation, reclaim their lives, and build a brighter future. https://gofund.me/446ec660

The impact of domestic violence extends far beyond physical scars. This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, I’m fundraising to help survivors access the resources they need to heal. Survivors face higher risks of PTSD, depression, and substance abuse. But there's hope. Last year, the Center helped over 1,000 survivors access free legal representation and community resources to rebuild their lives safely. Your donation can make a real difference. Donate today to help a domestic violence access life-changing help. https://lnkd.in/g9MuGvUT Together, we can break the cycle. #EndDomesticViolence #DVAwarenessMonth

So we all know that HT is horrible, and traumatic. We know it shouldn’t happen, and our laws and culture need to change to protect our children better. We all know that it takes a lot of resources and support to stand a chance at healing. But what would you do to truly help a survivor? Would you help them heal, if you could? Would you trade one cup of coffee per week? A $20 monthly donation could make all the difference in the life of a survivor. ☕️☕️☕️☕️—>Life-Saving Therapy: Humansave.org/donate It will take all of us, together, to end human trafficking within our generation.

Hope Starts with You: Join Our "Giving Hope, Saving Lives" Campaign Your support makes life-changing mental health care possible at Western Youth Services (WYS). Thanks to your generosity in 2024, we provided essential mental health services and trauma-informed care—helping children and families find hope, resilience, and brighter futures. In California, nearly 300 young lives are lost to suicide each year—one every 36 hours. Every loss is a tragedy we work tirelessly to prevent. Prevention changes everything. This Giving Season, your gift goes even further. Every donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $20,000—doubling your impact. We are writing to people in positions of power to highlight the challenges we face as a charity. Can you help share the message too? Demand is rising, funding is not. Our capacity is stretched and we WANT to support everyone. We know that by accessing therapy, people get the chance to heal. And for some people, that comes after years, or even decades, of living in emotional pain. But to support everyone, and meet rising demand, we need More Room to Care. More funding to deliver more counselling sessions, and more space to expand. Will you write to your Norfolk MP to explain why our support for sexual abuse survivors matters? Without us, where else do people turn? Find your local MP at https://lnkd.in/d5hpVywU #CharitySupport #FundingForGood #NorfolkCharity #CounselingSupport #SurvivorSupport

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and we need your support to make a real difference. Last year, 2,113 hotline calls were answered – a 10% increase over the prior year. When someone reaches out for help, it’s not just a call—it’s a chance for safety, support, and a new beginning. If that call goes unanswered, the potential cost can be devastating. Lives are at stake and every second matters. In addition, survivors can speak with an experienced counselor and court advocate at any time, day or night. Survivors can also communicate with these experts via click-to-chat and text. While these services are free to victims, they come at a heavy cost to us. Here’s How You Can Help during Domestic Violence Awareness Month: 1.Sponsor a Survivor: Your donation can ensure that someone in crisis gets the help they need. 2. Spread the Word: Share this post and raise awareness about the importance of our hotline and how it has helped save countless lives. Your generosity can provide hope and healing for those facing danger due to domestic violence. Thank you for being an advocate for survivors.
