𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐝… Last week’s poll asked the question - is it more important 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐝 or 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐝. The majority said it is more important 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐝. If this is so, then why do we have so many disagreements? Think of an instance where you tried to listen to someone who had a different opinion or belief from you. Did you fully listen to them so that they are heard? Or did you mentally argue what you would say next? I have to admit that too often I do the latter. So I ask again - why is it so hard for us to listen when we disagree. I’ll talk about this in my May 8th (free) audio event: 3 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 More information in the Comments section.

Hope everyone had a nice and relaxing Memorial Day weekend because Anna K. and I are talking about the (current) Spirit of STL this week :) Do we actually need to curate our own narrative or let it organically happen? How do we even do that? How can we live out our sentiments instead of simply talking in circles? We explore all of this and more. Check out episode 3 of the Designed By pod! https://lnkd.in/gnViXRFS
