Damn, there is just so much going on right now, it's hard to stay focused and on task. Are any of you struggling with that? There is also a lot going on that is causing me to have a heavy heart, and wonder what life is about, really? You are here for a reason. We all are. You have a role to play. You have a purpose. Do you know what yours is? Are you ready to stop wondering, and start asking the deeper questions about what you are here to accomplish? Who you are really here to be? The impact you are meant to have, no matter how big or small? Not everyone is meant to be a billionaire, or publish a best seller, or become President of a large company. That doesn't mean you aren't important. You are. Are you feeling shut down where you want to hide in a hole and never come out? Or maybe you're thinking I'll just keep my head down and wait all this out. I hate to say it, you might be waiting a while. This isn't a dress rehearsel. I do believe I've been here many times before. I'm also not sure if I want to be here again. I fully recognize that I will never be Alanna again, living this life, and knowing the people I know. When you are ready to step into what's next, a version of yourself that makes a stand to live life to the fullest, even in the midst of all this chaos, uncertainty, and change... ...and you know you would benefit from having a confidant to say things out loud to, to partner with you in not giving up on yourself, and to stay the course when you think "what am I doing all this for anyway?". Hi, I’m James Boardman [JB] Let me introduce myself. I’m slightly younger than I feel most days … especially when i've been grappling with savages in the morning. I’m a recovering perfectionist and a natural problem-solver … which means I’ve spent too much time trying to “fix” things that didn’t need fixing. Personal takeaway from field coaching yesterday… When anyone, regardless of their history and past actions, is given the opportunity where they feel save and vulnerable enough to share, do I not hear them express aspirations for a different and better future for themselves.
