Here's a free template to answer that pesky job interview question, 'Tell me about yourself.' Every job interview starts with this question. (Or something similar) So, start with a bang: "Hi, I'm [Your Name]. Thank you for this opportunity. I'm excited about this role because [explain why the role is exciting]. I started my career as [Job 1] at [Company 1]. Here, I gained experience in [experience 1]. Then, I worked as [Job 2] at [Company 2]. Here, I added [experience 2]. Currently, I work at [Job 3] at [Company 3]. Here, I added [experience 3]. I also have [degree, projects, certificates]. In my free time, I [something normal so you don't seem like a weirdo]. I can bring value to [Company Name] because [X, Y, Z]. For example, I [expand on X, Y, Z]. That's why I'm excited to be here today." This answer instantly hammers home YOUR value. And that’s what job interviews are about… Explaining the value of hiring YOU. What do you think? ⬇️ P.S. My digital course on how to land a job, drops on 1st October. So let’s do it! Let’s open a “job description”. What are we looking for? Resposibilities? Requirements? Let’s put together some interview questions. Let’s follow the STAR method!
