🥪 This week's Wellbeing Tip is to organise “lunch and learn” sessions for your team. These sessions allow colleagues to share skills or knowledge, and are a great way to foster team bonding and professional growth. Have a think about what topics your team might want to share or learn about. #Wellbeing #WellbeingTip #WorkplaceWellbeing #LunchAndLearn #TeamGrowth

Workspace wellbeing.. During my time as a manager of a team I always advocated that they find the time to reflect throughout their week... To slot this time into their calendars each week... To step back from the desk & breathe... To pause... To focus on their wellbeing.. This is so important. We aren't machines, we are human beings. And the toll it takes on our mind, bodies & souls can be tough... Lots of businesses & organisations are great at signposting for support; referrals to physio, CBT, employee support... But I so wanted to give in person sessions & regular opportunities for the whole team (as not everyone will step forward for support) to reward them for what they do & recognise that the time to pause will have such a bigger impact on overall productivity... I would have absolutely snapped this up for my team had I had the permission to do so... & that is why I created this intervention to bring this to open minded organisations who can... Plan ahead & slot dedicated time in for you & your team.. Whether it be once a year, a couple of times a year or once per month . Wellbeing has evolved significantly since I started Fitvision 10 years ago. Despite this progress, many organisations still face a challenge: connecting the dots between investing in wellbeing initiatives and seeing measurable returns. This disconnect can often result in wellbeing being underfunded or undervalued. If you're struggling to build a compelling business case for prioritising wellbeing in your organisation, I’d be happy to help you bridge that gap. The reality is that wellbeing is about so much more than fitness classes or isolated initiatives. When approached strategically, it can foster a sense of community, leading to longer employee tenure, higher productivity, and greater job satisfaction. But here’s the catch: if the value of these benefits isn't clearly demonstrated, securing adequate budget and support becomes increasingly difficult. Reach out if you need help defining the tangible ROI of wellbeing initiatives and aligning them with your organisation’s goals. mark@fitvision.ie

Well-being at work looks like: 1️⃣ Supporting coworkers through a tough time 2️⃣ Having open and honest conversations with your team about process updates 3️⃣ Implementing boundaries with your time and energy at work and outside of work (stop checking Slack after hours!) 4️⃣ Recognizing when you need to take PTO and press pause for a few days (or more) 5️⃣ Creating an environment where people feel heard and valued Well-being is more than just eating healthy and exercising, it’s ensuring that work is treating its people well. #workplacewellness #wellbeingatwork

This week is National #WorkLifeWeek – an opportunity to turn attention to wellbeing at work and get everyone talking about work-life balance. This year’s theme is about finding out what flexible working means to different people in all sorts of jobs roles. We wanted to take this opportunity to showcase some of #TeamPipster’s flexible working opportunities. Here at Pipster, flexible working is embraced with employees able to work the hours that suit them. This allows the team to balance their professional and personal lives efficiently and productively, both for them and the business. Employees can flex their hours to cover childcare, pets, volunteering commitments, or personal appointments. We also have employees who work four days’ a week on part time hours and full-time as compressed hours, allowing them to spend their non-working day on other things. Finding a good work-life balance is essential for employee mental and physical health. When people feel fulfilled, they work more productively. How do you balance your work and personal lives? What does flexible working mean to you? #PipsterSolutions #TeamPipster #FlexibleWorking #WorkLifeBalance
