A big thank you to fleur peck for leading an inspiring abstract art workshop. It was a fantastic opportunity to explore new techniques, think creatively, and let go of the need for perfection. Workshops like this are a great reminder of the value of taking time for creative expression. Thank you to everyone who came along! Looking forward to more sessions like this—who’s up for the next one? #AbstractArt #ArtWorkshop #ThankYou #Networking

👩🎨 Creating fused glass art is my ritual for strengthening abstract, out-of-the-box thinking. This creative practice helps me to see beyond the obvious and discover possibilities where others see obstacles. By continuing to develop my artistic style, I also shape how I approach more traditionally professional challenges. #AbstractThinking #CreativeSkills #InnovativeSolutions

NEXT WEEK! Collect and Collate: Guided Workshop on the Creative Potentials of Collage - LIVE event with Dr Francesca Bernardi. The process of ‘understanding through making’ offers a powerful catalyst to elicit personal and interpersonal connection through creative practice, pausing, collecting and collating. Utilise this practice as a way of engaging new clients, or colleagues, welcoming creative ideas (yours and others’), visualising priorities and facilitating interaction through creative potential (that hidden source, we all have). The 2-hour session is designed to offer a joyful, practical and soul-nourishing space to welcome the power and potential of creative exercises. Facilitated by art practitioner, community artist and scholar Dr Francesca Bernardi (CATA, FRSA). Making together and responding to materials in ways that release tensions, bringing forth intuition and dialogue, collage-making can offer routes to sharing and enabling intentions that are not reliant on talk, questions or external demands. This event is LIVE only. Use the link below to register. https://buff.ly/4h6X6FA #therapistsConnect #training4therapists #counselling

Many give up on art just because they aren't producing results that they can be proud of... 👉 Art doesn't start with skill. It starts with inspiration, will and action. 🌟 👉 Skill is simply a matter of right guidance and then whole hearted practice. 💖 Separating these two can massively help you detach from the discomfort of not producing a great piece of art YET. 🌈 🖌 🌈 #artclass #artworkshop #learnart #artworkshopwithparul

Creativity Unrestrained. This is the name of a painting competition for primary schools that Ania Kłaczkiewicz and I created 9 years ago at Primary School No. 3 in Szamotuły, out of anger caused by all kinds of pseudo-competitions in which everyone except the official participants took part. Our goal was simple. The participants painted on site, at school, during two class hours, using the materials provided to them in a relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by music and the opportunity to use references. It worked. It caught on. It turned out that every year, students from schools across the commune came to create their own products of their creativity and skills. We have gained the favor of offices, educational and cultural institutions, and companies related to art, technology and artistic workshops. Over the years, we have been supported by Wacom Creatives Europe Renesans Polska and Malowana Kuźnia - Zajęcia plastyczne. And these are just a few examples that I remember without recalling the details in detail. Nearly 130 young people took part in all editions. These are 130 people who believed and realized that they could start, create and complete their own works of art. And if there was something in which I consistently believed in the meaning of my teaching work over the years, it was in the sense of this initiative. I am even more encouraged by the fact that the school, and especially Ania, found the strength to continue. and so I am returning by train from the 9th edition of the competition, no longer as its co-organizer, but as one of the jurors assessing the efforts of the participants. Wow! how difficult it was to return to grading, work, skills, technique, creativity, accuracy, creative freedom. And although there is not the slightest chance to achieve this objectively, it does not relieve us of the obligation to try it. I wish you the same, that in the era of galloping AI, you will continue to create and not stop believing in creativity as a characteristic of humans. I hope that we managed to convince this year's participants to do so. Thanks a lot - o the organizers and the School Management and its employees for the invitation and hospitality - Co-juror for lively, healthy arguments regarding creative processes and their results. - Participants for their commitment and for creating. - Parents and guardians for supporting us in the difficult creative process. Below are a recording from the final opening of the works. See you next year! #education #art #culture #people

As I delve deeper into cartooning, I’m embracing an age-old artistic technique: copying the masters. By studying and replicating works from master Sergey Klyuchnikov, I’m learning: 🔹 Line Confidence: Understanding how to make bold, intentional strokes. 🔹 Character Proportions: Breaking down how iconic designs achieve balance and appeal. 🔹 Dynamic Expressions: Observing how expressions convey emotion with simplicity. 🔹 Movement & Flow: Capturing how motion is brought to life through thoughtful exaggeration. Copying isn’t about imitation; it’s about dissecting, analyzing, and internalizing techniques to build a foundation for my own unique style. Each study session reveals new layers of artistry and storytelling. #ArtJourney #CopyingMasters #Cartooning
