THOUGHT-PROVOKING THURSDAYS- 62 SEEKING YOUR COLLECTIVE WISDOM Today, I invite you on a journey unlike any other—a quest for wisdom, ideas, and inspiration. As I sit down to write this post, I am humbled by the opportunity to turn the tables and seek YOUR insights, YOUR ideas, and YOUR wisdom. If you've been following my journey, you know that I usually share my thoughts, experiences, and ideas. But today, things are different. Today, I turn to YOU, the brilliant minds in our community, to contribute your thoughts and ideas to a cause that's close to my heart. I'm on a mission to transform public toilets in Singapore and build an excellent restroom culture, and I believe that YOUR ideas hold the key to unlocking revolutionary change. It's a bold step, an unconventional approach, but one that I believe will spark innovation and bring us closer to our shared vision of a brighter, cleaner future. Here's the twist: Share your game-changing ideas, and if your brilliance lights up our path forward, you'll win a five-session coaching series with me—completely on the house! Our mission at the Restroom Association of Singapore (RAS) is audacious yet straightforward: we're on a quest for 100% clean public toilets and a culture of restroom excellence. Cleanliness isn't just a checkbox for us; it's about crafting a world-class restroom experience that leaves everyone in awe—from the owners and cleaners to the users and, of course, our valued government partners. Here's the breakdown of our focus areas: 1. The Government: Partnering for public awareness and education initiatives. 2. The Cleaning community: Elevating skills through continuous training. 3. The Restroom Owners: Certifying excellence and celebrating with awards. 4. The Schools: Educating our future generations early on. 5. The Corporates: Securing support through CSR initiatives. 6. The Philanthropists: Inviting benevolence to keep our mission thriving. Now, onto the burning questions that need your ingenious solutions: 1. Crafting a World-Class Restroom Culture: How do we leapfrog to excellence, taking cues from global leaders like Japan? 2. Creating Sustainable Revenue Streams: Beyond certifications, what innovative products can we develop and how? 3. Engaging the Youth: How can we make toilets exciting for Gen Z and harness their enthusiasm? 4. Building a Volunteer Powerhouse: What's the secret recipe for a thriving volunteer program? So, let the ideas flow! Drop your thoughts in the comments below, and together, let's turn dreams into reality. I'll personally review each gem of an idea and keep you in the loop as we march toward implementation. And remember, your brilliance doesn't go unnoticed—I'll shout out your contribution loud and clear, plus offer you that coveted coaching experience as a token of gratitude. Here's to the power of collaboration, innovation and disruption. Let's make this experiment in collective genius a resounding success! #collaboration #bettertoilets

This year, at TOTEM Branding we are encouraging our team to enjoy their holidays not only to relax and rejuvenate, but also to engage in positive actions that make an impact. Here are some inspiring ideas we have shared with our team: Connect with Nature: Explore national parks, mountains, beaches, and other natural environments to reconnect with the natural world. Time in nature not only revitalizes the body and mind, but also fosters a deep respect for the environment. Community Volunteering: Spend time on local community projects. Whether it's helping out at shelters, participating in educational programs, or supporting charities, volunteering is a powerful way to give back and make a difference. Cultural Travel: Travel to destinations rich in culture and history. Learning about different traditions and ways of life broadens our perspective and inspires us to integrate that diversity into our daily work. Continuing Education: Take advantage of free time to learn something new. Whether it's an online course, an art workshop, or a new skill, continuing education keeps us curious and motivated. Sport and Physical Activity: Practicing sports or physical activities that we are passionate about. Regular exercise not only improves our physical health, but also increases our mental energy and focus. Upon returning from vacation, our team brings with them not only unforgettable memories, but also new ideas, fresh perspectives, and renewed energy. We are excited to see how these positive experiences will translate into our daily work, positively impacting our clients and the brands we create and transform. Because at TOTEM Branding, we are not only dedicated to creating better brands, but also to fostering a better work-life balance for our team, thus promoting a better world. www.totembranding.com #TOTEM #TOTEMBranding #branding #brands #PositiveVacations Andy Stalman Graham Purnell Gema Paniagua Carlos Bisio Kemmy Almengor Sergio Stalman Fede Nahon

Here's my 2024 LinkedIn Rewind, by Coauthor: Manufacturing marketing. Community conservation. Personal transformation. 2024 taught me they're all connected - and powerful when you embrace them fully. After years of interim roles, I returned to my true passion - leading bold marketing initiatives in manufacturing. A-SAFE GROUP welcomed me as Head of Marketing Communications, where we've: • Developed a dynamic marketing A-Team • Promoted pioneering safety innovations • Expanded our global reach across 17 countries • Created a solid foundation for success in 2025! But corporate success doesn't mean stepping back from community commitments. The Rivington Heritage Trust Festival of Light had its most successful year yet: • 4,400 visitors across 4 sold-out nights • £25,000+ raised for conservation • 500+ volunteer hours crafting in my home! • Countless magical moments created And somewhere between strategic planning and conservation volunteering, I found time for personal growth: • Embraced gym workouts (thanks A-SAFE GROUP gym!) • Lost 7cm off my waist • Discovered the joy of early morning training • Built stronger boundaries around work/life balance 2025 is about amplifying A-SAFE's pioneering spirit through transformative product launches and bold marketing initiatives while continuing to champion conservation and community projects. Because when you stay true to your passions, extraordinary things happen. #ASAFE_ATeam #PioneeringWorkplaceSafety #volunteering #LinkedInRewind #2024wrapped

🌍 International Volunteer Day: Together for a Better Future! Today we celebrate International Volunteer Day, a day dedicated to volunteering and social engagement. What do you do to help others? What role does social engagement play in our society? I am convinced that social engagement is a central cornerstone for cohesion and solidarity in our community. When we, who are well-off, share with those in need, positive changes arise. It is part of the "glue" that holds us together as a society. And the beautiful thing is: Those who give often receive just as much in return – whether in the form of gratitude, personal fulfillment, or valuable experiences 🙏 🙂 On the occasion of International Volunteer Day, I would like to thank my team for what we have achieved together in social engagement this year – here are a few examples: 💡 Overview of Schaeffler’s activities in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): A heartfelt thank you to Kathrin Wind for your inspiration and support! 🧭 Internal team workshops for idea generation and action implementation – we not only collected ideas but also actively implemented them: 🍲 Food donations: We have set up a "Tafel-Locker" in our office. 🏒 Sports and social engagement: Hockey4Hope stand and field at our AirCampus summer festival. 🎨 CSR & team development: Combining activities, e.g., volunteering at an animal shelter or crafting and singing at a nursing home. I am particularly proud of three people in my team who are strongly socially engaged in their private lives and invest a lot of time and effort: 👏🏻 Kim Höra: Leads a distribution point for Tafel Nürnberger Land e.V. and helps needy people every Saturday morning 👏🏻 Alexander Uhrle: Founder and board member of Hockey for Hope e.V., connecting sports and social engagement for a good cause 👏🏻 Valentin Henken-Mellies: Board member of a Rotary Club that supports local and global humanitarian projects For Schaeffler, social engagement has been a matter of course for many years and is deeply rooted in our values that shape our corporate culture. Economic success, sustainable vision, and awareness of social and ecological issues are inseparably linked. Are you also active – privately or within your company? I’m looking forward to your reports and potential ideas! Or have I inspired you to become active yourself? If it is about social engagement, every little contribution counts, whether private or professional – let’s do good together and share inspiring stories! 🌟
