We are deeply concerned by the alarming rise in racist and Islamophobic violence across the UK. This surge will have a particularly troubling impact on children, including many from migrant and refugee backgrounds - many of whom have already faced significant trauma. As a charity dedicated to protecting children worldwide, we see how hate and far-right rhetoric endanger the well-being of all children, particularly those in vulnerable communities. We are horrified to witness this hatred spreading on the streets of the United Kingdom. We stand with all those affected by this violence and discrimination and stay united against racism and violence.
