Don't let it be 'awks'. Know what's appropriate, know the do's and don'ts. It's important to remember that any physical contact with children and young people must be necessary and appropriate to the delivery of your sport’s programs or services and based on the needs of the athlete. Examples include: assisting with the use of equipment, technique assistance or correction, treatment by a health practitioner or administering first aid. I want to take a moment to give a heartfelt thank you to Congress, Senator Cory Booker, Representative Adam Kinzinger, and all those who fought to make the HEARTS Act a reality. This game-changing act will bring essential resources, training, and awareness to combat sudden cardiac arrest and provide life-saving tools and education to communities across the nation. At CPRWrap, our mission has always aligned with the goals of the HEARTS Act: making CPR and life-saving tools accessible to everyone, regardless of background or training. We believe that CPR education and emergency preparedness should not be limited to a few, and we are proud to be a part of this important movement. Here are just a few ways CPRWrap can contribute to the success of the HEARTS Act: Widespread Distribution of CPR Kits: As a tool designed to empower everyday people, we can partner with schools, community centers, and public spaces to distribute our CPRWrap kits to ensure everyone has access to life-saving resources. Education and Outreach: We are committed to offering CPR education and workshops in underserved communities, helping to break down the barriers that prevent people from taking action during emergencies. Providing Tools to First Responders: By collaborating with local governments and first responders, we can ensure that CPRWrap kits are available where they are needed most. We are ready and eager to join the HEARTS Act movement. If you are interested in collaborating or want to learn more about how CPRWrap can support this initiative, please reach out to us at info@cprwrap.com. Let’s continue working together to create a safer, more prepared nation. 💪 #HEARTSAct #CPRWrap #LifeSavingTools #CPREducation #SocialImpact #CardiacArrestPrevention #CommunityHealth #EmergencyPreparedness #MakeADifference #BystanderCPR #HealthEquity #TogetherWeCan

Before we bring this campaign to a close, and start anew tomorrow, we wanted to remind you what brought us all together today. Currently, less than 1 in 10 people survive an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. By learning CPR and feeling confident to use a defib, you can give someone their best chance of survival. All citizens of the world can save a life. As you’ve seen today as we’ve travelled around the globe, it doesn’t matter what country or time zone you’re in and it doesn’t matter if you’re keeping time to “Stayin’ Alive” or “Baby Shark”. Confident chest compressions and use of an AED can – and do – save lives. Whilst we globally all come together under one banner, one eight-pointed white cross, the heart of St John lies in local communities – St John’s shared mission to be a global leader in first aid and medical responses to community healthcare needs starts with neighbours; it starts in village halls and community centres; it starts in streets, schools, and youth clubs. At the very core of our work are the 160,000+ St John volunteers who give their time, effort and expertise to help others. Our volunteers come from the local communities they are working in and improve the lives of their own family, friends and neighbours through their ownership of our services – all whilst strengthening their community’s resilience. All citizens of the world can save a life. You can too. --- Learn CPR. Act Fact. Save Lives. #OneStJohn #RestartAHeart #StJohnCares #WorldRestartAHeart

🚨 Heartbreaking Reminder: The Importance of CPR Training 🚨 Meet Sarah, a vibrant child with an infectious smile and boundless energy. One sunny afternoon, tragedy struck when Sarah choked on a small toy while playing at home. Her parents, panic-stricken and untrained in CPR, desperately called emergency services as precious minutes ticked by. In those critical moments before help arrived, Sarah's life hung in the balance. Her parents, overwhelmed and unable to provide immediate assistance, felt the weight of their helplessness. Despite the swift response from paramedics, Sarah's oxygen-deprived brain suffered irreversible damage. Today, Sarah's family grapples with the devastating consequences of not having CPR training. They share their story not to dwell on regret but to advocate passionately for CPR education. They urge every parent, caregiver, and individual to equip themselves with life-saving skills that can make all the difference in an emergency. Let's turn tragedy into action. Learn CPR, empower yourself with knowledge, and be prepared to act when seconds count. Together, we can ensure that every child has a fighting chance in an emergency. 💔 #cprtraining #lifesavingskills #survivalcpr #choking #parentingtips

Proper handwashing is one of the simplest yet most effective defenses against common and contagious diseases. In schools germs can spread rapidly, leading to preventable illnesses. In some areas of our society, access to health education and hygiene resources is limited, making initiatives like Handwash Hygiene Awareness especially crucial. With a focus on safeguarding children's health, we recently conducted a Handwash Awareness Drive in collaboration with our partner NGO, C3 Foundation. This initiative aimed to teach essential handwashing techniques to help prevent the spread of contagious diseases. Our dedicated volunteers, alongside the NGO’s SPoCs, played a key role in educating students through engaging demonstrations and activities, showing them the proper steps for effective handwashing. In addition, our volunteers created informative posters and educational materials (IEC) to serve as visual reminders, ensuring that the hygiene lessons continue to resonate with students well after the event. These resources will help the school sustain a culture of cleanliness and health awareness. By promoting this initiative, we are not only improving the well-being of the younger generation but also contributing to healthier schools and communities. A heartfelt shout-out to our amazing volunteers, whose enthusiasm and dedication continue to make a lasting impact in all our CSR efforts.
