Virtual Reality (VR) | Unpacking Expectations and Bias In June 2023, I embarked on a unique opportunity to join a team of Subject Matter Experts (SME) to assist in the development of a soft skills VR training project. As the lead of Group #5, the team and I focused our research and recommendations on ‘Learning to unpack expectations of abilities and skills.’. Today, I signed off on the final product. ⭐️ 🎮 Goal: What practices and methods can employers use within the work environment to establish goals and expectations for a job (position/role) - specific to the duties, deliverables, and responsibilities of said position? 🎮 Module #1 (4x Acts): Describe what or how an employer can accomplish the goal 🎮 Module #2 (4x Acts): Help employer realize their biases during the hiring process and give them tools and knowledge to minimize them or get rid of them entirely 🎮 Module #3 (4x Acts): What practices or policies can be put into place to ensure that employers and organizations are being inclusive of everyone?
