This summer we are Sailing for Sustainability. Our goal is to raise enough funds and interest to begin international distribution for Saving Walden's World in 2025, including educational distribution and study guides. There are only six years left to achieve the ambitions set out in the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for a more peaceful world – but progress is not being made fast enough. The latest SDG report revealed that ‘nearly half the 17 targets are showing minimal or moderate progress, while over a one-third are stalled or going in reverse’. As a global community, we need to act with more urgency and speed. We believe it is not too late, and that innovative approaches to financing might hold the key to getting the SDGs back on track. In her latest newsletter, UNICEF PFP Director Carla Haddad Mardini talks about moving forward through a financing revolution, where innovative financing has already proven itself, and the ways we can accelerate SDGs. https://lnkd.in/dBDg-Yne

There are 17 SDGs (sustainable development goals) of United Nation. I have gone through all these and let me share one by one. For sure, the success can be brought by the community through a calculated strategy which they will follow based on honesty and sincerity principles.

Happy SDG Flag Day! 🌎 FCE Projects were proud to take part in the UN Global Compact Network UK Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Flag Campaign for another year. The #SDGs provide a globally recognised pathway towards the future we want, yet only 16% of the targets are currently on track to be met by 2030. With 84% showing either limited or reversed progress, the need for action is more urgent than ever. By raising our SDG flag, we aim to demonstrate our commitment to the #GlobalGoals and highlight the actions we’re already taking to address major global challenges, such as climate change, poverty, and poor working conditions With only 1 in 10 people in Britain familiar with the SDGs, raising awareness through initiatives like this is essential.
