We live in a world of broken systems.
The food, textiles and manufactured products we use every day come from unsustainable systems - 45% of GHGs can only be tackled by changing the way we make and consume products and food.
We need to do better and #CircularLiving is our model for doing that.
After 20 years of delivering programs that reduce CO2 and waste, restore nature and change people’s behaviour, we've launched a refreshed brand for WRAP – one as distinctive and memorable as the concept of Circular Living and as our organisation itself, reflecting the scope of our work and our global reach.
#FoodWaste#PlasticPollution#TextileWaste#CircularEconomy
WRAP is a global
environmental action NGO seeking to bring circular living
into every home and every boardroom to make it commonplace. We're super
excited about our new brand at WRAP, because it really firmly
puts the spotlight on circular living and on our bold, global ambitions
to take that forward. Together with the companies funders
and indeed the public who are excited
by this prospect of a different future where we can live
more in tune with nature. I think it's a very good message to really bring it home,
that this isn't something different. This can be part of your day to day life. It doesn't need to be changed
or massively drastic from how we live now. Yet at the core is a really important
change that we can all make. I think WRAP can play an incredible role
in that journey of circular living. I think there's loads of resources that WRAP
have, there's loads of data that WRAP has that can help businesses
make the right decisions. WRAP certainly can provide
that expertise, enrich us with insights and really help us to drive
meaningful impact. Data alone, counting numbers. Imagination alone,
that's daydreaming. But if you combine data with imagination
and throw in a little joy, now that can really change the world. And what everyone has said to me
is how inspired they were by tonight, that it did
actually reignite their passion to help take circular living forward,
and that they learned a lot. We're on the cusp
of taking the circular economy from pilot to a complete
paradigm shift. As the circular economy
becomes the mainstream economy Another world is possible. And sometimes when it's really quiet, I can almost hear her breathing.
