An excellent event from Stacey Ebbs and the Threat Modeling Connect team. The cybersecurity field can seem daunting but the people here are always welcoming. We got an excellent accessible discussion for newbies facilitated by Dave Soldera, a fascinatingly in-depth process overview from Kreshnik R. and a robot dog! The newbie discussion focused on where to start and what to model. Software or whole systems? Assets or actors? and is really okay to leave out external dependencies? It was a great start to the London threat modeling meetup scene.
What a milestone—our first-ever local meet-up in London took place yesterday! A big thank you to our hosts, IBM, our sponsor, IriusRisk, and our fantastic guest speaker, Kreshnik Rexha! A special thank you goes to our facilitators who volunteered their time to run the peer discussion sessions Dave Soldera Claire Allen-Addy CMktr Noel D. Petra Vukmirovic and Omar Sáenz Herrera! And of course a huge shout-out to all our amazing community members for coming along and making this first local meet-up a success. We look forward to seeing how these grow! Now London 🇬🇧 is passing the baton over to Barcelona 🇪🇸 for tonight's event! Enjoy!
