Lunch with my section👌🏻You might think - ” that is a small section” And yes, even though one colleague couldn’t make it today, we are a small team. But, it’s not all about numbers, it’s what’s inside and what we do with it. The famous WHAT and HOW. The “what” is the easy part, the things you can see and the “how” is the tricky part - the things you can’t see. Therefore it’s great with a lunch, to get to know each other more and to find out what’s inside. Its imperative to thank each of everyone on your team! This team can consist of everyone that you not only directly work with but everyone that you meet on a day to day basis. This may be the janitorial staff making sure your office is clean, kitchen staff keeping you healthy with nutritious lunches and snacks and your immediate team which in my case is my super awesome histology lab members at Natera! What are the important benefits of this you may ask? ✅ Recognition: It acknowledges individual contributions and validates the efforts put in by each team member. Feeling recognized and appreciated boosts morale and motivation. ✅ Team Cohesion: When team members feel appreciated, they are more likely to collaborate effectively and support one another.
